The General Tso’s chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender inside, coated in a rich, slightly spicy sauce that had just the right balance of sweet and heat. The teriyaki noodle bowl was packed with flavor, with well‑seasoned meat and veggies, and a glossy teriyaki sauce that wasn’t too salty or greasy. The pineapple chicken fried rice was a standout—light, fragrant, and loaded with chunks of pineapple and vegetables, so every bite had a great mix of savory and sweet.
The appetizers were just as impressive. The coconut shrimp were huge, crunchy, and coated in a flavorful coconut breading that paired perfectly with the dipping sauce. The squid legs were cooked really well—crispy, not chewy—and seasoned so you could actually taste the seafood instead of just batter. Altogether, it felt like a meal that could easily compete with big-city spots, but right here in Stafford.
On top of the food, the presentation and packaging were neat and thoughtful, with everything still hot and fresh when it arrived. I would highly recommend Table 9 to anyone in the area looking for high-quality Asian food, generous portions, and consistently delicious dishes. I’ll definitely be ordering from here again.
The pork was succulent. The miso broth was perfectly flavored. Also very filling. Spent $30 per person and left with plenty for second meal, so I’d say $15/person
The service is always top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and they go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience every time.
Bonus: they offer a military discount if you’re active duty or a
veteran.
If you’re looking for a consistently excellent local spot, Table 9 Kitchen should definitely be at the top of your list!
When you stop by, make sure to tell them Ginger Walker sent you!
I ordered a Japanese style Curry Rice with chicken and the cream cheese wontons. I’ve spent four years in Japan eating their curry so my expectations and perspective are a bit different than most local customers. The rice is a bit drier and chewy (not crunchy just chewy) than what I’m used to for an Asian restaurant. The chicken and vegetables were tender and fresh but were large cut and chunky for a Japanese style, and the curry sauce was a little thin and lacking in flavor. It was a good attempt with high quality ingredients but nowhere close to a Japanese curry rice bowl. Wontons were a thin wonton wrapper style and retaines their crunch on the drive back home, though they were small for the price.
Restaurant was clean and plenty of space with 9 tables. And the service was cheerful and welcoming.
Would come back again if I had a group of family and friends who couldn’t decide on a cuisine style.
The restaurant does mostly takeout and was busy the whole time we were there.
Service is great. I highly recommend this little gem
