We live in Amsterdam (Netherlands) and have dined internationally. This is a fabulous restaurant which could hold its own in Chicago, NYC, or any major city. Charming ambiance, excellent food and wine. Our server Jason was attentive, friendly, and efficient. The crab cakes and pecan coated trout were sublime and the homemade lemon pie to die for.

Really enjoyed our meal here. Wonderful service. Beautifully presented “small plates” can certainly make a lovely meal of these! No tiny crabcake here! She crab soup was very good. Come casual or a little dressy. If you are into bourbon, great selection.

The food was delicious! Excellent service as well. The crab cake was the best I’ve ever had! I highly recommend that and the she crab soup. The Caesar salad was fresh and delicious as well. It was nice to find a restaurant in Michigan that severs sweet tea!

We discovered Table 14 five years ago and have been here many times. Always excellent food and service. The she crab soup, the sweet tea marinated duck, the ahi tuna, the whitefish and the salmon are all longtime favorites! The owners are always in the restaurant also.

We were beyond disappointed. Two of us ordered the crab cake, pork belly, scallops and shrimp & grits. The seafood ingredients are good quality, fresh and good size and generous portions. But for a supposedly top notch eatery, the sauces lacked flavor and complexity. The pork belly, while well seared, tasted bland and bristly. The shrimp and grits came in a heavy tomato based sauce that tasted dull and salty. Of the 4 dishes we ordered, 3 came with grits. I like grits but I didn’t come to a fancy eatery to fill up on heavy carbs. The final straw was how overpriced the menu is. Two of us with 2 appetizers, 2 mains and 1 glass of wine, no dessert and no coffee, paid almost $150.

Excellent food and atmosphere and wait staff. I had the Crawfish cake, which was awesome and the gourmet salad, which was also delicious, but really small. I was disappointed that ALL of the desserts were milk based. I really wish restaurants would offer at least one dessert that was not milk based for those of us who are lactose intolerant. At least a sorbet. I did end up having the raspberry cheesecake, but kept drinking club soda and water all night to make sure I didn’t have an upset stomach.
We returned in October 2022. I ordered the Crab Cakes( small plate) and gourmet salad. Still outstanding, though small portions. Hubby had She Crab soup and battered chicken. He liked both. I would have ordered the White Fish, but there was too much dairy in it. This time, they actually had one dessert that was without dairy- sweet potato pie. We didn’t have dessert though.

Had a wonderful dinner while sitting at the bar. Courtney the bar tender was fabulous. Attentive, friendly and made you feel right at home. The cocktails were great and the wine fairly priced. Dinner was excellent, the filet mignon was cooked to perfection and the green beans had wonderful flavor. The scallops were delicious as well. Great southern flavor and hospitality! Would highly recommend.
