Our server was very nice. Our food, however, was less than mediocre. My burrito barely had any steak in it. Scarce, tiny pieces of steak once in a few bites. It was filled with mostly rice and some beans and excessive tortilla shell. (Green and red salsas were fine and added needed flavor.) I didn’t realize sour cream was in my burrito until towards the end of one half, where there was a huge glob of it piled in one spot. As past cook myself, one of the biggest disappointments is, when cooks don’t pay attention to, or care how they build and present their food. Nobody wants to take a bite out of a burrito and be surprised with ONLY one ingredient, especially sour cream. Charging $18 for a burrito like that is outrageous. My partner’s burrito bowl was much the same. Very little meat and excessive amounts of rice.

The tacos were soooooooo goood!!! I had the fish and shrimp taco, and my boyfriend and I shared the Quesabirria tacos and that was amazing! He had the southwestern and steak, and he said they were very good also, but he really really liked the Quesabirria ones a lot!!! But if I had to pick one out of the tacos I had, it would have to be the shrimp one, it was so good! I told my boyfriend that it was by far the best shrimp tacos I’ve ever had and I’ve had a few in my life time, lol. The waitress did a wonderful job, and she was so attentive and patient with us. We couldn’t decide what tacos to get and my boyfriend was also catching up with the owner, they know each other through table tennis, lol. The atmosphere was so fun and inviting and we played darts after we got done eating, and that was really fun! Overall a great experience and I can’t wait to go back! Also, the tres Leches cake was AMAZING!!! Definitely check this place out!!!!!

My husband and I happened across Taberna as we were finishing a bike ride near the Lakes. We had the tacos for two meal and it was all so delicious. Our server Melissa was great – very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!

I stopped in for lunch on a Thursday around 2 p.m. The food was decent overall. I actually found an avocado shell in my guacamole—which, in a way, was reassuring because it shows they’re using fresh avocados. The quesabirria tacos were a bit overcooked, both on the outside and inside, and the meat filling was on the skimpy side. The consommé was thicker than usual, and while the salsa was tasty, it mostly helped mask the burnt flavor. A beer runs $8, and three tacos cost $15.

Great happy hour at Taberna. We enjoyed the fried cauliflower, Asian nachos and cheese curd tacos. They have a $4, $6 and $8 food and drink specials. Our waitress Ty was great. They have a wonderful patio area also.

We ordered the Tacos for Two and got to pick six tacos. I had the Carne Asada Taco, Healthy Taco, and Gringo Taco. My husband had the Impossible Chorizo Taco, Crispy Shrimp Taco, and one other taco I can’t remember. All of the tacos were really good and the green salsa that came with them was amazing.
I also tried Elote (Mexican Street Corn) for the first time. It was so flavorful, a little creamy with a bit of spice from the red sauce. The beans and rice that came with the meal were also very tasty.
Overall, everything was fresh and delicious. We really enjoyed our meal and would definitely come back.

Our first time here. That burger was DELICIOUS!!! thats breakfast sandwich was tasty also, that bread was soo soft! Was not expecting how god it was. You get a complimentary bloody or mimosas with a breakfast order so run don’t walk! The guacamole was ok the queso was good and the empanadas in my opinion were alright. Rest of the food was excellent. Will go again!

Sat at the bar. Caught the evening happy hour specials that had great and inexpensive happy hour options. Had 2 orders of the happy hour Ahi tacos (2 per order) which were absolutely delicious. Co worker had the 3 steak taco dinner which he loved but he could not finish so I took it upon myself to help finish them off. Steak taco was great and the street corn was legit. Service was great and the overall atmosphere was awesome.
