Food is really good. The portions are great, everything comes out piping hot. The tea is great and helps warm you up. My friend ordered the sesame tofu, and when I tell you it looked exactly like chicken, I actually had to taste it to make sure there wasn’t a mix-up. That’s how good it looked and it tasted even better.
The space itself is perfect for a cute catch-up girls’ lunch. Comfortable, relaxed, and just a really nice place to sit, talk, and enjoy good food.
If I’m in the area again, I’m definitely coming back to try more dishes.
I have come here during week days so is never to busy or had to wait for a table. Staff was nice and service was good.
I got the mini wonton soup and pan fried dumpling sampler to start. Both were delish and warmed my stomach up nicely. Highly recommend those if you’re into dumplings. The dumpling sampler had 4 different fillings, the shrimp and vegetable were my favorites.
I also ordered one of the crispy rice sushi, forgot which one. It was different looking, but tastes just ok to me.
My last item was the sashimi dinner. It comes with rice, but I opted to go without. By then I wasn’t starving anymore and slowed down to take a picture. The quality was quite fresh. Price for the number of pieces and variety was reasonable. Presentation was beautiful in the bowl of ice, shredded radish and shiso leaves.
Service was decent overall. However…I did ask the server to bring me the check as I was treating my family. A different server later took my uncle’s card and charged it, scrambled ensued with my parents trying to get the check and it was just totally avoidable if they followed my initial request for me to treat my elders. Took a star off for that.
