For more than 43 years T.J. Hooligan’s has been a staple in the Prior Lake community. On September 23, 2024, we added a second location in Eden Prairie at 6411 City W Parkway. Hooligan’s is one of a kind and best described as a cross between an Applebee’s and Cheers bar. It has a great Irish/American Pub atmosphere with outstanding, homemade food. The food menu is expansive and includes Mexican, Italian, American dishes. Hooligans is also the Minnesota home of Music Bingo. Check out our Facebook page for more details.

Always a favorite place of our in Prior Lake! Never had a bad item on the entire menu we’ve tried almost everything!
One of the things we also really like is the clothing drives over the holidays because that’s a very important thing this time of year. Lastly, Sohnia is a great server who always helps us get exactly what we want and usually has our regular orders ready for us! With that said, all the servers there tend to be top notch! Love this place, reminds me of home!

Terrible seating for event this evening. No concern from manager or staff. Asked about an open table, was told this table was reserved then saw staff/manager seat 4 people at this table? after 30 minutes of being told this, with people who had the same seating issue as us. Cold appetizers as well. Cranberry juice is not Cranberry juice, terrible taste. Overall, not a good experience.

And the best thing on the menu was the wedge fries. The turkey burger was half cooked and has zero taste the cardan blew chicken sandwich with a slice of pressed ham.A piece of cheese in between small hamburger buns.I will not recommend this place to anyone. They did not screw up the tab beer, but the tequila sunrise was quite weak.

We were in the Prior Lake area on St. Patty’s day and decided to stop by to grab a bite to eat and a beer.
Service was really good, our waitress was extremely friendly, patient and nice.
The fried pickles were the best ever! They actually fry the pickle spear so you’re getting hell of a lot of pickle in every bite.
I dropped a star because I ordered the fish and chips and the fish had a foul smell and taste to it. Ended up not eating it, waitress was nice to take it off our bill.

Our second time here. We like the atmosphere and variety of choices. Today it was a patty melt and hot beef sandwich. No alcohol, had a camper to drive home. Prices are decent, food good. My roast beef commercial came with some tasty mixed grilled veggies. Mashed potatoes yummy and roast beef and gravy good but a bit too salty. Hubby enjoyed his patty melt.
Will return again to try something new!
Last time was the fish taco’s. Now those were a bit bland to my taste. Onion ring appetizer okay, a bit greasy. Will be back!

The food and drink was amazing! I got the fajitas and a Tequila Sunrise. Will come again! The bartender was extremely nice and friendly (also VERY polite) when he told me to seat myself. The waiter was also friendly. The food was made efficiently and correct. Will come again.

Our community choir hosts a yearly music bingo fundraiser around the holidays and TJ Hooligans have been absolutely wonderful hosts! The food is delicious, the service is great, and the owner emcees the event himself. Highly recommend checking them out!

It’s such a nice small town bar feel. Friendly staff and pretty quick service. The food was really good. I had a roast beef commercial, which I love getting at the small town bars and restaurants. This was easily a top 3 open faced roast beef, loved the grilled veggies. Other times I have had the same quality of food and service. So the consistency has been there.
