This is the second time I have eaten here in a week. The 1st time I had the chopped beef sandwich (spicy). And both of them where very good. This time I ordered the Ultimate Baked Potato (All The Way). It didn’t disappoint. The prices are very reasonable. Good no frills down home home bbq. If you are in the area definitely give them a try.

Old hole in the wall but seems to have a pretty loyal following. Sliced brisket was okay but not great. Slight smoke ring, a little on the dry side. Sauce is thin and watery but the correct flavor for a Texas BBQ. The turkey was just okay as well. Chopped brisket on the baked potato had very little flavor and was mostly brisket crust. The baked potato was huge and cooked correctly. The pork ribs were tender and flavorful. The sides were disappointing, the potato salad was made with mashed potatoes and was kind of watery.

All in all, not a great place, but not a bad place either a solid middle of the road barbecue place. The prices are very reasonable and the staff warming and accommodating.

My husband & I visited TD’s Barbecue for the first time and tried their 3-Meat Ultimate Potato, and WOW, it was the BEST baked potato we’ve ever had! We found this place by accident after finding out another BBQ spot was closed. Thank goodness we did! The flavors were incredible, and the portions were HUGE. If you’re thinking about trying it, stop thinking and just go! This place is a must-visit for delicious food. Highly recommend

Tried the All the Way Baked Potato but the chicken was extra apparently. When I asked what’s the difference between this potato and the stuffed potato, I was told one comes with meat and one doesn’t. So I ordered the all the way but had to pay $6 extra… I don’t understand their math when it’s supposed to come with meat?? Then the guy did not even tell me it would be extra until it was rung up for $20… but the potato was supposed to be priced at $14??

Anyway, 0/10, the potato was nasty and there was a huge bone . I’ll just stick to Smokey Joes. My first and LAST time trying this. Dave yourself the trip and go to Smokey’s instead.

I have been coming here since I was a kid and never have I had a bad experience. The BBQ is always fresh and hot. The portions are great and a 2 meat plate can feed 2 if you like to share. Prices are fair compared to other BBQ establishments in the area. I highly recommend TD’s BBQ if you’re in the Oak Cliff area.

Menu
Barbecue meats, baked potatoes, sides, corn bread, large fresh dessert selection. We had tge rib ends with mild sauce-also ffer hot-10 pieces of full meat-no fat! Many sides-we had baked beans which had a delicious hint of cinnamon. The greens were delicious! The corn bread was a tad dry but good. All food served very hot! Beverages ate lemonade, punch, sodas in cans-no diet.
Summary
What TD’s lack in atmosphere, it makes up for in delicious fresh food. I loved watching the chef make the banana pudding! Great food! Friendly service!

My first time visiting the place, it was recommended to me. The food was good, the potatoe salad was a Lil soupy, not firm, good taste though, the greens were excellent. One of the young men was somewhat not attentative ,but corrective at some point, wasn’t concerned about that, the food was what we went for. The place in itself has a friendly atmosphere. We will be going back, as I stated, it’s the food we go for, next time I’ll know to get the sauce on the meat, to bypass the extra charge not to.
My friend enjoyed her meal as well and so did my grandbaby.

Super dirty place ngl idk it needs a deep clean and to be renovated. The meat is not Smokey and has no flavor, the bbq sauce saved it by a strand of hair. The bacon bits in the potato is freezer dried from Kroger maybe fiesta. Horrible flavor tbh. The potato was flavorless and overall bad I’m regurgitating as we speak. I have an “all the way” baked potato throw up stuck in my throat. Houston food way better no shade !

Good food, got the spicy, not super spicy, but you feel it, I still feel it on my lips 10 minutes later despite wiping ’em. People seemed chill. Great value for your buck. They’re gonna be a regular stop anytime I gotta go to the VA
