T-Bone Steak House Knows Steak! T-Bone Steak House, located on the side of South Mountain, was once a private residence. Constructed in the 1920s out of river rock and adobe, the building was turned into a restaurant in the 1940s, catering to local ranchers and farmers. In 1972, it was officially named T-Bone Steak House and it has been a local favorite ever since. For over 40 years, we have been serving the finest mesquite broiled steaks, salmon, trout, pork chops and chicken this side of the Salt River. Join us for dinner and journey back to a simpler time when a beautiful view and the company of friendly folks was all one needed. Everything was absolutely amazing. From the moment we walked in, the staff, food, and ambience were top-notch. Our server, Steph, was so sweet, welcoming, and attentive. She truly made our experience special. We were also waiting for our kids to arrive, and even though it was close to closing time, the staff remained incredibly patient and attentive, which we truly appreciated.

The food was incredible! I ordered the salmon, and my husband had the chicken and filet. Everything was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and served in great portions. The manager, Travis, stopped by to make sure everything was perfect, and the bartender, Steven, nailed every drink.

This place exceeded our expectations, and we will 100% be back. Thank you for such an outstanding experience!

Steak house with a nice (night views) of the city with its old western theme. The food is generally good and you have a few options for steaks that are cooked to order. Note: the salads could be a bit bigger tbh. In general its a good steak house with the average cost of $60 / $75 per person.

What a great place for dinner! It was our first time here and we will be back. It’s a rustic and cozy atmosphere. The food is very delicious and the drinks were refreshing. The food portions are generous. We had the trout which was fresh and pan fried perfectly. The chicken was so moist and tender and the filet was cooked as we ordered it and tender. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. The owner chatted with us for about a half hour and enthusiastically explained the history or the building and the area. The other positive is the view!

Its hard to find a steak cooked 100% to your specifications at restaurants but if your going to go to a steakhouse, this one is excellent. Not perfect but very good. Ribs are excellent. You get cowboy beans and bread for appetizer…now cowboy beans are not for everyone, they look like soup and if your a baked beans person these are not even close, I love them but just beware the taste is semi bland and they are not even close to baked beans….and the bread is honestly….mediocre…..but I like it! Service and atmosphere are out of this world. My picture was taken in the parking lot on december 27, 2025

It was a real great experience in all aspects, nice and clean place, delicious food (I suggest bone in rib-eye and porterhouse I loved, cooked to perfection) and service was excellent from Lana, she was so kind and always with a big smile. I really recommend T-Bone Steakhouse

Nice casual steakhouse. Simple menu, the meat was cooked in the right cooking temperature. The waiter was attentive and gave good suggestions for the dessert. Because this restaurant has a nice view of the city from the south we decided to have dinner around 6. We were able to see the sunset and get great pictures.

Half rack off the menu was fantastic, as is the apple cobbler. The service was amazing from Melanie. Even if the food was great, we would comeback to see her. Views are amazing and the atmosphere is laid back and chill. Great conversation with the partner, thanks for checking in on us. Will definitely be back.

The flavor is nice and they can get you a good char. But I would recommend you to ask for your steaks to be over cooked from what you want. I asked for medium-rare and got served a blue rare with a good crust and char. Definitely wasn’t my style. My Fiance asked for medium-well and got a medium-rare. The beans, baked potatoe and deserts were the best part of the meal.

My friend visiting from Kentucky said her steak was the best she’d ever had 18 months ago. Tonight she said the same thing again. She had the steak/chicken combo and the chicken was outstanding. Our server Lana was great, and the owner Travis made us feel welcomed.

The food was great and the service was even better. They were busy on a weeknight. We called an hour ahead for reservations and were seated immediately. After our meal we explored the property to appreciate the history and craftsmanship.
