My wife and I recently ordered take out from Szechuan Garden and were pleasantly surprised at how good it was. I had the Cashew Chicken, which was quite flavorful, and packed with moist and tender chicken. My wife had their Walnut Crispy Shrimp, which featured crispy shrimp as promised, and which were coated with the sweet mayonnaise sauce the dish is known for. My wife also had Wor Wonton Soup, which was, happily, just as one would expect. We will definitely give this place our repeat business, and cannot wait to explore their other dishes.

There are many options available on the menu and reasonable prices for the lunch menu.
The serving size was large for a lunch portion with the little added extras of soup, rice, and wonton.
The lobster sauce and shrimp was good, but was more like egg drop soup over shrimp. At least the egg drop soup was better than most these days. The fried rice was bland and dry. The salad was chopped iceberg lettuce with no dressing on it, but when I asked for a side of dressing, they were quick to bring some.
The service was interesting, with the first young server seeming to struggle to take the order, but an older woman jumped in very business like and completed our order. Our needs were met, and the establishment appeared clean.

Tried really hard to like this place but its awful. Moorpark really needs a better Chinese place. Food sucks, they get your order wrong all the time, customer service is even worse. I am done trying to support this business. Prices are unreasonable as well. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!

I miss this place so much I had to move out of state, me and Mom used to hit that place at least twice a week and the owner is just awesome. We’ve been gone almost a year now… and I still think about it, nobody has compared can’t find a place like it

A great spot to eat more authentic Chinese food compared to the major chain nearby.
The beef chow fun is one of my favorites and I love that they offer a reasonable upcharge ($1 – $3 depending on amount) if you are wanting to add extra beef pieces to the dish!
Always friendly and timely whether ordering for takeout or dining in!

It was our first time getting takeout from here. The service was fast. The orange chicken was a small portion I thought and not much flavor but the beef fried rice and chow mein were tasty .
