We went on Christmas to have something different and it was amazing. Everything there was so good. You get good sized portions. We all shared and I can honestly since it was new and everything looked and sounded so good. They have lots of variety of foods as well. The pics are of the soup dumplings, Mongolian beef, the house wings, and orange chicken. It has become one of our new favorite places to eat. A true hidden gem.

Chose this place on a whim and was absolutely not disappointed! The food was so good. We ordered the crabrangoon, rib plate(idk exactly what it was called on the menu), shrimp dumplings, soup dumplings and egg drop soup. When I say we ate and left no crumbs the ribs were seasoned and cooked perfectly, the egg drop soup was so good. We kinda inhaled everything lol the shrimp dumplings were fresh and had a little spice in the chili sauce, the crab rangoon was nice and crunchy. I didn’t care too much for the soup dumplings but I tried them and I am positive if you like soup dumplings, you’ll like those. Service was great we got all of that and two drinks for about $55 (ish). Definitely come here and try all the things, this is a gem in the city. I hope this was helpful!

Great Sichuan flavors overall! The Sichuan boiled fish was amazingly flavorful and the fish was tender and fresh, although not live. Both the green beans and the pepper steak had fantastic flavor but were just a tiny bit off in texture. The green beans could’ve been a bit more crunchy enough and the beef was a little bit rubbery.

Really represents the best of OKC Chinese food along with Golden Phoenix.

Fantastic and authentic cuisine, food was hot and tasty, it was an excellent meal. The menu has lots of choices and includes pictures to help you decide or if you’re not familiar with the cuisine. The sesame beef was the best I’ve ever had, dumplings were tasty and crisp, sauces were excellent, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming.

If you’re craving truly authentic Chinese cuisine with bold, satisfying flavors, Szechuan Story is a must visit in the Oklahoma City Asian District. From start to finish, this place delivers on both taste and hospitality.

First time eating in the Asian District. We ordered the pork soup dumplings, shrimp fried rice, and the house lo Mein. We had hot green tea to drink. The lo Mein was sweet tasting. The fried rice and dumplings were more to our liking. Service was great.

They have a great customer service, they served us at 9:30 even though they close at 9:30 on Valentine’s Day. The waiters stayed late so that we could dine in. They came to refill water often and attended all our needs proactively. The food was great and customer service even better!

Really enjoyed the food at Szechuan Story! While the name suggests a focus on Sichuan cuisine, their menu actually features a mix of dishes from different Chinese regions, including Cantonese and Sichuan, which makes the experience even more interesting. The Salt and Pepper Chicken was crispy and flavorful, the Cumin Lamb was well-seasoned, and the Sweet & Pungent Pork Ribs with Taro had a unique and delicious sweet-sour balance.
The restaurant space is a bit small, and it can get crowded on weekends, so if you’re planning to dine in, it’s best to come early or call ahead. For takeout, I recommend ordering online in advance and waiting a bit before picking up, as dishes are freshly made and may take time. Overall, a great spot for authentic, flavorful Chinese food with regional variety!

Stumbling upon this restaurant during our road trip to Texas was a delightful surprise. The service was exceptionally friendly and efficient. We savored the shrimp dumplings in chili oil and the salt and pepper chicken, both bursting with flavor. Though we didn’t have time to explore more of the menu, everything looked incredibly appetizing. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Oklahoma to try more dishes.
