Cute restaurant. Owner checked on us and had wonderful stories. Hospitality was excellent. Waitress was so friendly. She suggested trying their homemade salad dressing. I was skeptical so she said I could change it if I didn’t like it. She was right. Probably the best dressing anywhere. . Food was delicious and reasonably priced. A lot of deer around area. Would definitely return next time we are in area.

$18 for 5 shrimp. No peel and eat options, apparently the owner is hanging onto his glory days in New Orleans. The place smells like a dirty Bourbon Street night for sure! Holy crap what a dump! Lower your prices and lose the high-falutin’ persona. You’re not even close to JB Hooks and they are at least reasonable. Good lawd!

We stopped by because my friend recommended this place.
We arrived at 4:01 and they opened at 4 pm
We entered an empty restaurant, and the server said we could sit anywhere we wanted. I replied I’d like to sit on top of the bar. She said anywhere, but there and smiled. We were given drink options, and both decided on sweet tea.
The server arrived with drinks, and we ordered. I asked for recommendations and ordered french-uletta, and she said i should try. She recommended Jambalaya for a side, and I said sure!
My wife ordered Tasso Alfredo. Her meal came with a salad. The server asked if I wanted my jambalaya when she brought the salad. I said yes, please.
The salad and jambalaya were TOP NOTCH!
Salad was green and fresh, plus the bread was well butted and toasted to perfection! The jambalaya was pretty spicy if you are not into spice.
The food arrived and it was cooked perfectly. The shrimp were flavorful with the Alfredo. The french-uletta was incredible!
The server recommended for dessert a gooey butter cake and vanilla ice cream. We loved the dessert it was amazing, and she brought 2 little extra cakes I can’t recall the name, complementary. They were tasty.
Definitely recommend this place. Halfway into my meal, I knew I wanted to return. Seldom do I find a place I absolutely love and this place is one.

We were pleasantly surprised to find such good Cajun food being served in the Lake of the Ozarks area. Shrimp Daddy’s, while relatively small, offers a relaxed atmosphere with New Orleans decor. Staff and customers were quite friendly. There is a bar with drinks being served. The Cajun fare is very authentic. Prices are reasonable. Shrimp Daddy’s sits a bit above the road and is very visible but the drive is somewhat easy to miss. Free parking in their gravel lot is available. Face masks and social distancing were not required when we visited in late March 2021.

It has a cool and relaxed atmosphere. There’s a full bar and lots of parking available. The food came out hot and fresh. I tackled the Cajun Dog and it was very good. This is a great place for Cajun food in the Sunrise Beach area and the owner and staff are friendly and attentive.

Tried Shrimp Daddy’s tonight and it was wonderful!! The coconut shrimp was amazing, and so were the jalapeño poppers. Service was terrific. Can’t wait to go back!

The service was amazing, but the food was your standard walmart out of the box. We were told that they use fresh shrimp, we got served old rubbery shrimp with kraft mac and cheese. The food was way overpriced and definitely not fresh.
