Really loved this place and wish I discovered it sooner. I am only passing through for work training. Miso very flavorful, which is a good first impression. They skipped nothing in regards to it, it has tofu, seaweed, and green onion. It is not watery at all. I also got their tofu gyoza and they seem to be wonderfully homemade! A great size portion too, they are packed full and flavorful. I recommend getting them pan seared and steamed.
Their Japanese curry was good. Good amount of tofu, carrot, onion, and potato. It was spicier than I expected and maybe slightly on the thinner side but over all delicious. It was served with a good amount of rice. Great vegetarian options!! You can really tell they put time in and care about what they offer. Service was timely but didn’t feel that my waitress was very attentive. Highly recommend this place!

Have I ever told you guys how much I love you? I bet you guessed since you’ve seen me in there for lunch and dinner on the same day a time or two Thank you for putting up with all our friends and shenanigans over the last 10+ years. Your team is the BEST. Your sushi is the absolute best (and that bisque ‍ ‍ ‍ ‍ ). The memories I have at Syringa are priceless. Keep fighting the good fight and playing the jams!

Another place in CDA that really pushes the quality! So good! Also the only place in north Idaho that serves Escolar, my all time favorite sashimi fish . Really chill vibe, and Japanese beers on TAP??? Hell yeah

We got there when the opened and were seated right away. Lots of indoor seating and a bar available. Fresh sushi was wonderful! Tried several rolls, jalapeno poppers and green beans were also very good! Plenty of parking as well.

My wife and I come here every time we want to celebrate. Being from California, it’s the best seafood you can get in Idaho.

All their appetizers were phenomenal, even the octopus pancake. I thought the sushi would of been better, but it does not mean it’s bad flavor. All their food is fresh and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. I will try the noodles and other warm dishes next time

Our first time here was fantastic. The tempura was some of the best we’ve ever had, and we’ve eaten a lot of tempura. We all enjoyed the rolls we ordered even the one topped with New York steak. I loved the poke, a different flavor than I’ve had before but an improvement. My family did not like the different flavor of the gyoza. The cauliflower bisque was the real surprise. It sounded a little bland but was over the top delicious, I would order that again. The service was good but as they got busier we waited longer. We weren’t offered additional beverages until we were done with the meal and we had to wait to pay the check. Overall a good experience, we would all eat here again.

Honestly the service was amazing. Shout-out to the tatted guy that served us. I’m a very big sushi guy and so of course I ordered the nigiri plate. I could only force myself to eat 3 pieces. All of the sushi smelled of a fish market which is not a great indicator of high quality sushi. I don’t blame them because we are in a landlocked state but I had very high expectations for the sushi and was very let down. Great service though, seriously recommend this place for drinks/appetizers, just maybe avoid the nigiri.
