I had an amazing dining experience at Symposium Cafe & Restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we felt comfortable throughout our meal.
The food? Absolutely outstanding! Every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. I highly recommend trying the burger as it was the highlight of the meal. The ingredients were fresh, and the balance of flavors was perfect.

Josel was our waitress and she was fantastic! The food was very tasty and fair priced. For 2 people we got: a large soup, truffle fries and a BLT with fries AND 2 alcoholic beverages. We went during lunch.

We recently visited Symposium with a large group of about 85 people, and the team did an impressive job accommodating us. Everything was well organized — from seating to service — and they managed to have everyone eat, pay, and finish within 1.5 hours, which is no small task.
A special thank you to Avinash, the manager, for keeping everything running smoothly and honoring all the arrangements. We really appreciated the generous touches as well!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Symposium Cafe in Cambridge, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience! The food was nothing short of delicious. We just had my son’s Confirmation Celebration here, party of 15. The atmosphere, the service and the food were all beyond amazing! From the start when I emailed to book, to them accommodating and helping with decorating and menu selection, to the attention to detail and prompt and courteous service, we could not have asked for a better experience. Our waitress was so attentive and fast, she always had a smile on her face and brought us what we asked for quickly. The food was so delicious and hot when served. We also ordered a cake, and it was one of the best cakes we have ever tasted (Strawberry Shortcake). They even went above and beyond, cutting it and drizzling it with strawberry sauce. All in all it was 100% amazing and we will definitely be using this restaurant for all future celebrations.

In for a pleasant surprise! The cafe from outside as a first time visitor one might feel it is a small space, however it is a brilliant cafe in terms of ambience, portion size is abundant and food is delicious. Service too is excellent with polite and attentive staff.

I recently visited Symposium in Cambridge and was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food and drinks, especially considering the high prices. I’ve enjoyed this location in the past, so returning seemed like a good idea — but this visit was a letdown from start to finish.
I ordered the Chicken Cobb Salad ($22.95), which was unfortunately the worst Cobb salad I’ve ever had. It consisted mostly of iceberg lettuce instead of romaine, with only a couple of grape tomato slices, a few cucumber chunks, and two small slices of bacon. The chicken tenders were heavily sauced, making the entire dish soggy.
My son ordered a chocolate milkshake ($9.95) that arrived with no straw and almost no flavour. The same issue applied to my virgin cocktail ($5.95) — no straw and absolutely no flavour, as if it had been watered down. We also ordered desserts, including slices of cake that was dry. Overall, every item we tried lacked any quality and was poorly made.
Bottom line: for the price, this experience was extremely disappointing. We won’t be returning to this location, and based on this visit, unfortunately I cannot recommend it to others.
