this place has VERY delicious food and frozen bubble tea drinks. the lychee bubble tea drink does not disappoint. when it’s slow, you get your food SO fast (cannot say for busy times because i’ve only been here on weekday nights). their version if crab rangoon is definitely a must try as well.

We’ve been here about 10 times now. This is hands down the best Thai food we’ve ever had. We strongly recommend the Sy’s fried rice, Mango Chicken, Crab rangoons, and Ka ree basil noodles. We also love getting the Pattani curry. They also serve a delicious complimentary cabbage soup. We love this place!!!!

We stop by Sy Thai in Troy several times a month for lunch, and it never disappoints! Their noodle dishes are outstanding – especially the Von Sen, my personal favorite. Service is always top-notch, and it’s an ideal spot for a quick, delicious lunch. You can easily be in and out in under 30 minutes. Highly recommended!

The food was so good and the service was very attentive and friendly. And the portions were HUGE. It was nice to enjoy the leftovers. Good spot for lunch or dinner with friends! Definitely recommend the Thai tea too. 😉

Food was delicious. Interior was a lot nicer than I was expecting. If you were expecting the interior to be similar to a Qdoba, you will be in for a pleasant surprise. The Sy’s fried rice was delicious and came with whole chunks of tomato and cashews! They took my entertainment coupon! The imitation crab was was delicious and the scallops are good sized, not the baby scallops you may find elsewhere. It is also great they have free shrimp chips with your meal. I got top of the line spicy which was very spicy but still bearable.

Had a great dining experience here! The curry fried rice was absolutely delicious—flavorful and perfectly cooked. I also appreciated the clarity from the staff regarding ingredients. I had asked about the vegetarian soup, and the waiter explained that it contains oyster sauce, so it’s not vegan—good to know.

Service was pretty quick, and the ambience was warm and inviting—a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal.

The food was awesome. We all had vegetarian dishes. The service was also great. My wife loved her cocktail, and I had a shot of the Thai whiskey. We left with barely any leftovers because the entrees were delicious. The medium spice is hot, but it didn’t ruin my Basil fried rice. The mild spice is perfect for those who don’t appreciate spicy food. The coconut ice cream, mango ice cream, and the fried banana were all awesome. We will definitely return.

Sy Thai in Troy is an absolute favorite of mine! If you’re a fan of Thai cuisine, you cannot miss their Tom Kha soup—it’s full of flavor with the perfect balance of creamy coconut, tangy lime, and just the right hint of spice. It’s the kind of dish that warms you from the inside out.

What really sets Sy Thai apart, though, is the exceptional service. On my last visit, the staff went out of their way to ensure every detail was perfect, from customizing spice levels to offering thoughtful recommendations. They truly make you feel like a valued guest, whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth.

And the Drunken Noodles? Absolutely incredible! They’re always cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of chew and a sauce that strikes the perfect balance between savory and spicy. The fresh vegetables add a nice crunch, and the portion size is generous without being overwhelming.

If you’re looking for a restaurant that delivers consistently amazing food with a side of genuine hospitality, Sy Thai in Troy should be at the top of your list.
