We were driving back from the mountain and stumbled upon Switchback Sweet Shack in Kitridge, Colorado. It’s conveniently located right off the road, making it an easy stop. I grabbed a Coffee Crunch cone, and it was absolutely delightful—fresh, smooth, and full of flavor. We sat by the river with the family, enjoying the beautiful scenery. It was a perfect way to end our day. Highly recommend!

Great little spot located next to the smokehouse. Has all the classic flavors you might expect from an ice cream shop. There seems to be a draught of ice cream in the valley but this place is well worth the visit!
