We had an excellent lunch experience at the Cataloochee Ranch. We were seated after about 10 minutes, and the view was remarkable. The service was excellent throughout, and even spoke with the executive chef. We actually ordered a margherita pizza to start, and it was so fresh and authentic. The waitress shared that all of their ingredients are shipped in from Italy. We also ordered the smash burger, French onion grilled cheese, and cataloochee steak frites. All of the entrees came with fries. We enjoyed all of our meals – the burgers tasted great; the grilled cheese had a nice balance with the grilled French onions, and the steak was tender and juicy. Our drinks were regularly refilled throughout the meal. Overall, we had an excellent meal and experience, and the views only added to the ambiance. Highly recommended!

Outstanding brunch from start to finish. Everything was fresh and perfectly seasoned. Highly recommend the pastry plate and the breakfast items. The hash and eggs Benedict were fantastic and the waffles and bacon were some of the best we have ever had. Ella was a fantastic server, warm, attentive, and kind. The ambience was beautiful and the entire staff made us feel genuinely welcome. A small rain storm came through when we were up there and everything felt so cozy. We grabbed a slice of peanut butter pie from the store afterward and it was incredible. Loved every minute. Highly recommend!

So happy we decided to meet our family here. The most perfect spot. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was so beautiful. We loved walking around the property after. There’s a beautiful pond in the back.
Daily, our waitress was amazing and the hostess Penny was the best. So sweet! We felt like we were having lunch at someone’s house. They treated us like family. Highly recommend.

Every single staff member at the restaurant was super amazing. Always greeted with a smile and accommodated our party of 19 without fail. Our server Bailey was sooo perfect and great. Absolutely love her. Best service! Great food, drinkd and scenic view

We went there yesterday for Thanksgiving dinner. Since the food was served buffet-style, it’s hard to judge their usual day-to-day quality — but for a holiday buffet, it was mostly fine. Pretty much what you’d expect when dishes have been sitting out for a while.
What was absolutely unbelievable, however, was the service.
After being seated, it took at least 15 minutes before our server even acknowledged us. He eventually brought our initial drinks, and then completely disappeared. We didn’t see him again until the tables around us — the ones he was also responsible for — became so frustrated with the lack of service that they started packing up and leaving. Only then did he suddenly reappear to rush out the checks.
Not once were our waters refilled. He never returned to ask if we wanted another drink, which we definitely would have ordered. And when he finally dropped off the check, there wasn’t a single apology or even a simple “thanks for coming in.”
I very rarely leave negative reviews, but this was, without question, the worst service I’ve ever experienced.

Absolutely amazing place with incredible food and service… Cara, our hostess, as well as Emma and our server Isabella we’re simply remarkable and so customer, Eccentric and friendly and greet ambassadors to this amazing restaurant. We also had a great time with the bartenders, Gary and Reagan and so look forward to our next chance to be with them… We are in town from the great state of Virginia in Florida, but we will certainly be back to this amazing place and enjoy the camaraderie shown by this amazing staff as well as the ambience and the incredible food!!! Thank you So much Cara for your time today and certainly want to thank Emma for taking care of us at the last minute… You guys are simply the best!!!!!!!

The food was fantastic, the only real down side was the service was rather non existent. For example we got an extra plate for our daughter to eat off of. Upon looking at it, it had dried bug corpses smashed into it. So I waited for a bit before I just got up and got another plate my self. Another occurrence was it seemed impossible to get a drink refill. I asked during the course of the dinner portion of the meal. After having both dinner and desert, I finally got a drink to go. So as I mentioned the food and atmosphere are great. But the service is lacking.

Possibly the best service that I’ve experienced, combined with the highest possible food quality. Dishes are expensive, but should be- as the caliber of the chefs is Michelin Star. Bartenders are equally good – try the Golden Hour cocktail!

If you are within a thousand miles from this place you should definitely come here. The food was spectacular. FRESH, FRESH, FRESH is all I can say. Eggs from there coup, potatoes from there farm, sausage and bacon from there farm. Fresh squeezed orange juice and apple juice. Everything was fantastic. Service is spot on. Coming back for dinner tonight.
