After our boat trip was cancelled we were looking for something to do and the Swiss lounge was open. We started with a fried mushroom appetizer and drinks. We had a great waiter in ERIC. Since we were not ready for dinner we left and went for a walk around the lake. We ended up back at the Swiss Lounge later and lucky us we got ERIC again. We really enjoyed our dinner of sandwiches – Chicken Club, Roast Beef Sandwich and a cup of Chili. Recommend the Trail Crew Mule – very tasty!

Good drinks, amd food. Good time swapping hiking stories and meeting people. Friendly atmosphere. Can get drinks to go, eat or just drink. Dining room menu is available to eat at the bar. Bar seating and general seating. Limited drinks and offerings but you are in the middle of a National park in the middle of no where so it’s all in context. Had a great rainy evening hanging out here with everyone. Friendly staff!!!! Highly recommend as a park option. Had cherry pie for dessert but was engrossed in conversation and forgot pics. Had 2 huckleberry cocktails that are the only ones in the menu. Loved it!! Husband had an old fashioned. Very good.

Service was excellent, however, I asked for the Trout Pate to come out first but it came out with the rest of our dinner. The Huckleberry Smash is so very good. There was ample pate and the Bison Chile was quite tasty even though I didn’t have it until the next day.

A satisfactory sufficiency of supple sustenance, Schweiz-style. In the old days the Swiss Lounge used to model the dining ambience of an Alpine village. These days, the lounge booths have been taken out and a queue allows patrons to line up for take-away orders. This is ok; we still remember how it used to be and revel in the subtle hints of a Swiss chalet teleported magically from Interlaken. For vegans there is a Beyond Meat burger. Summer 2022 update: The inside dining room has returned.

after hiking in the back country for 5 days you think that the Berger was satisfy you however it was quite the opposite. This was the most unsatisfactory burger I’ve ever had the pleasure of not enjoying.

Edit: just received the ice cream and my friend received a burger that she really liked and it redeemed my experience so I will bump up the review from two stars to three stars. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION ON THIS MATTER

While I was happy to find a vegetarian option here, it didn’t last long! Service was very slow, my order was kind of messed up but it was replaced, except this time it was cold food!! To top it off it was highly acerbic, to the point that it even tasted bitter. It was the only awful tasting dish that I’ve had in our entire trip!

Our waiter was great, this bad review stems from the unbelievably horrible quality food. The calamari will eventually get someone sick… Our waiter was honest and stated it was frozen but we are not food snobs so still ordered it. But after arriving at the table the texture was unbearable. It was like chewing on a ligament that never fully cooked. $30 dollars for two drinks and a calamari appetizer. Stay away from this place and save yourself the trouble. If you’re visiting many glacier hotel bring your own food ahead of time and save getting ripped off for absolutely horrendous food.

My husband and I loved the food and drink options here. Everything we tried over our two day stay was great! Reasonable prices considering you are inside a NP and dining options are limited. I got the huckleberry margarita and it was great. Cocktails are pricey but good quality.

I’ve never seen so many flies in any other restaurant I’ve visited over the past three decades. Be careful while you eat because they may become some extra protein in your sandwich. And, the server forgot to bring us forks and knifes and napkins, but I guess they don’t care since it’s just a tourist restaurant

Ok let’s face it so many things gone wrong. This place needs to train their new waiters. We sat done at 8:00. The restaurant had only half the menu available. Drinks arrived at 8:15 and ordered our meal. Did not see our waiter for 45 minutes. 9:00 our meals arrived cold. Fries were limp, burgers were cold and the pasta was barely warm. Sent it back to the kitchen. Basically put it underneath a broiler. 15 minutes came back – plate searing hot – food warming- bun hard as a hockey puck- food in the middle cold. We couldn’t eat it. Spoke to the waiter and said we can’t eat this. Spoke to supervisor only paid for our drinks. 1hr30 later 1 round of drinks and NO dinner. Horrible experience. Normally enjoy eating at National Parks – they have great food but this was absolutely HORRIBLE.
