Very slow with Typical bar food. As long as you go for the bar you probably would be alright. However, very unimpressed if going for a meal.

Bartender on staff was totally alone and managed to serve drinks, make food (which was awesome)and maintain friendly courteous attitude with a crowd inside. Made a mistake on our order and didn’t want to charge us.
We of course paid him anyway and gave him a good tip as well.

Experience here was great, The waitress/ bartender was very personable and they have plenty of New Glarus Beers on tap. I got the Reuben, and my mother got the Gruyere Burger both were fantastic. The cheese curds were serviceable but not the best I’ve had, and they had a slight fishy taste which I’m guessing was due to the fact that the Fried Fish is very popular on Friday the day we went, and they are probably cooked in the same fryer. I would give S’wisco Taphaus a 3 star rating but the great service from the waitress/bartender is worth an extra star. Four Stars for this location, I suggest sitting at the bar!!

We went here for the fish fry because some people in town recommended it. It was a great, classic fish fry. I highly recommend getting the cheesy hash browns as your side, and it also comes with a biscuit! Also the cook said that our fish pieces came out too small and insisted on giving us another piece, so that was nice! We also enjoyed the pretzel cheese curds, and their old fashioneds weren’t bad either! Definitely a good local townie bar with some decent food.

Had a Fantastic lunch and maybe a few too many beers but you couldn’t beat the price. I believe the bartender is a wizard, the bar was full of what seemed to be neighborly locals And a few people from Holland. I will recommend and will return for future festivities

A nice place to stop for a brew and a bite to eat! The bartender was very good and the burger and gyros were excellent! Stop in and enjoy some great conversation with friendly people and have a bite to eat with a drink or two!

Food was good, but bartender complained about us buying pull tabs and when we stopped later in the evening she felt the need to play her own music over ours in an empty bar.. except for the six of us. Then she encouraged us to go to another bar instead of staying open.

Sweet waitress, but she didn’t ask me how I wanted my burger and I got shoe leather. I thought she’d ask us how everything was after she asked the table next to us, but no. She called them by name. I guess you have to know people to get a burger done medium rare and not well.

Omg! The new owners need to get rid of the old women bar! She doesn’t remember who she charged because she was busy talking to her friends and NOT helping “bikers” who are coming through town! What a HOT MESS! Good luck with the new owners!

All of the positive reviews are very surprising to me! We got absolutely terrible service here (never asked for refills so glasses were sitting empty, food took forever, very rude waitress) and food was disappointing. I normally don’t write reviews but this place was bad from start to finish. Very very disappointing.
