Came here for dinner and had a wonderful time! The food was so good. I had the big dip, it was perfect. From the delicious meat, mushrooms, cheese, and bread to the dipping sauce. You can tell everything is made with pride. My cousin is GF and found soo many options! The customer service was fantastic. I didn’t grab the guys name (but he had just come back from vacation), he was fun and genuine. The atmosphere outside was cozy and welcoming. I will be back!

Talk about a hidden gem! We had the Melty Brie Dip and the Chicken, Apple, Bacon Brie sandwich served on warm, crusty bread. Both were simply amazing!! Very cozy atmosphere with a full bar.

Never been to Manitou before, so the wife and I rolled the dice and landed on Swirl. Old building, quirky vibe, 100% on point and happy to be there just for that. Then came the food. Their sandwiches? Better than drugs. We’re here a week and we’ve gone everyday and don’t plan to switch it up either. We also stopped in for lunch one day, had some coffee to warm up and shared a brei plate, and they nailed that too. Their coffee, which the spice themselves, is so good I just drink it black. And the service is stellar to boot. Definitely worth checking out.

Walked in as we were visiting manitou springs! Got a table right away. They were short staffed so it took a minute but overall solid. You get water as you get seated. Ordered the pretzel, burger, and a cubano and it was good.

What a fun stop in Manitou Springs! Swirl has the comfortable atmosphere that makes you happy to become a part of their Colorado history. It’s cozy and eclectic (Be sure to look up at the whimsical ceiling!) with food that doesn’t disappoint! Be sure to get something that includes the homemade blue cheese sauce. Unlike the thick gloppy dressing you normally think of- this one is packed with flavor and a consistency that allows for a solid dunking of your cauliflower wings. Yum!
Super friendly staff, delicious food and an unassuming atmosphere- what more could you ask for in an iconic Colorado town?

Neat place, small so seating is limited. All food is freash made so takes a little longer to get it. That being said, the flatbread was cold and the other item was hot, so seams like they waited on one before taking out to the table. Food was OK, think they still have some learning to do.

I think the most disturbing thing about my experience at Swirl Wine Bar this last Friday night was the fact that while I was eating, I saw a mouse scurry across the floor.
My husband and I saw this mouse about 5 times while we were dining and the anxiety about it was only getting worse.
I was very distracted by this unwanted furry guest to say the least and simultaneously underwhelmed by the food. And again, the food was the least of our concerns at that point.
So what else can I tell you that was just as disturbing about this whole situation.
First off that my husband and I mentioned the matter to the waitress and she didn’t do anything about it and continued on as if nothing.
I then followed up this complaint with a phone call and talked to the manager, Angel who apologized but then stated that there was construction going on in the building.
Personally I don’t care about an excuse, I care about you as a manager taking care of your customers and from this interaction I see that the people who work here could truly care less.
If I was a business owner and had this happen in my restaurant, you bet your bottom dollar I’d do everything in my power to make things right with my customer(s). But again not everyone will run their business this way.
And for those who want to know about the food, my soup arrived barely warm, the salad was not fresh, the chicken pot pie was probably one of the worst I’d ever had and my white wine was flat which tells me it’s been sitting in the fridge for several weeks.
The only thing that tasted somewhat decent was the pretzel and the rum cocktail but again who wants to eat dinner while watching a critter run across the floor.
Another thing I have to mention is that when I did look at the floor because my husband was concerned the mouse had run under the curtains, that floor looked like it had never been cleaned.
And when I saw that filth and grime, I think I knew everything I had to know about Swirl Wine Bar.
At this point in time I strongly recommend people avoid this place until they get their business act together.
Swirl Wine Bar gets 2 thumbs way way down for a very poor dining experience in December 2025.

The food was absolutely delicious, and I loved the atmosphere and beauty of the building. Took one star off for service because the server, though very nice did have some challenges. Brought the one table two hummus instead of one and brought me the wrong order so had to wait a while. Overall, delicious!
Update- we’ve been here around 5x and still one of our favorite places in Manitou! We always make the stop here!

Stopped here for lunch after a hike on a summer Tuesday. Town was very busy. Parked down the street in a paid parking area. Cool little place. Loved the umbrella ceiling. Food and drink was very good.

We came here for lunch and had a great experience! The service was incredible, and our waiter Angel was fun, helpful, and attentive. We had two people in our group who have Celiac, and although they aren’t certified as a Celiac kitchen, they did a great job accommodating our needs. The food was fantastic. The menu had great options, and we would definitely come back to try more of what they serve. Overall fantastic experience.
