It’s fast food bar b q in an airport, but it’s not that bad. I honestly got a veggies plate and it was great. Those sweet potatoes are like a dessert! Veggies were well seasoned and the Mac n cheese was on point! If you want some home style food and something different yet unique to Nashville, this is a great option as you pass thru to your next destination.

Sweet BBQ at Nashville International Airport was okay — not terrible, not amazing, just middle-of-the-road. The staff was friendly and moved quickly, which I appreciated, especially on a tight layover.
The food itself was decent, but not memorable. The flavor was there, but the portions felt a little small for the price, and the meat could’ve been more tender.
For an airport BBQ spot, it gets the job done, but it didn’t stand out compared to other dining options in BNA.
Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re hungry and need something quick, but I wouldn’t specifically go out of my way for it.

Quick southern meal needed before boarding a flight out and the catfish was perfect. It was not only a large portion but seasoned well. The mashed potatoes and green beans were spot on. Highly recommend.

Stuck at the airport, and decided to swing by here for lunch. Opted for the pulled pork, turnip greens, and mac and cheese.
The first two were really good (from a yankee’s perspective, and the portion was fair for the price; which has never been my experience with airport food.
I definitely recommend stopping by if you’re at BNA and need some food.

Worth a stop to mix it up and avoid the typical airport fare. The pulled pork was decent and the sweet potato casserole is definitely worth your time. In fact, if nothing else, just stop by to get a side of the sweet potato casserole and thank me later.
I stopped by here on a Wednesday evening in December of 2023 while my wife and daughters waited in line next door at Shake Shack. I had my food before they even got to place their order. The food was good, the service was quick and friendly.

Pork and broccoli casserole were good, mac and cheese is an abomination. Service was slow and they forgot the bbq sauce, had to go back. The pork was definitely smoked with its telltale pink ring but certainly off-site, but considering I had low hopes for airport food the pork was a happy surprise.

I had the occasion to eat here twice in 5 days while on layovers. While the name SWETT’S BBQ is slightly misleading, I was not disappointed. This is a counter serve fast southern style restaurant. Our server was all alone at the moment we arrived but quickly took good care of us as soon as she finished with other customers.
I had fried pork chops, beef tips, collard greens and broccoli casserole. I’ll just say that I ate every last bit and that it all had ten times the flavor of today’s lunch at Ol’ Red across the way.
The variety here is good. Seating is shared with other counter serves but is ample and within an easy listen to the live music.
Definitely a do again.

Food was awesome! Very reasonably priced for what you get at an airport!

Not impressed with the breakfast bowl. It had nothing to do with BBQ (despite the sign saying “Swett’s BBQ”), the sausage patties were dry, and the potatoes, eggs, and gravy had little to no discernible flavor to them. Maybe their lunch/dinner options are better, but I would avoid for breakfast.
