This is the second time in a row my order was messed up. Because it was takeaway, I didn’t notice that the buns were actually burned (charcoal black burned) & that they jipped me out of a patty until I got home. The female server I spoke to couldn’t care less. Never again.

I so wish that we had Swenson’s in North Carolina. Every time we are in Cleveland it is a must. I agree with Forbes on claiming this as the best burger, at least in the realm of fast food burgers I would say so. The burger is incredibly flavorful. I think it’s a combination of the sauce and coleslaw that makes it so good. Fried mushrooms are bangin. Service is fast and friendly. No complaints whatsoever.

First time here and boy am I glad someone recommended it. The food is awesome, fresh and delicious. You must get the sloppy joe sandwich and the fish sandwich. Both are delicious. I’m going today…3rd time….I think I am going to try the bologna sandwich. The fries are so good!!! Highly recommend!

This place is very racist!!! A server walked past us and looked at us and went to the car the had just pulled in. He then looked at us again and smirked. I flipped him the bird, which was wrong. But immediately the other server starts telling us he’s calling the police and that we wouldn’t leave. Nobody refused to leave, I was already eating a meal I had purchased from Sauce the City so I had to put my food away so I could pull out. He did what many people are doing to people of color nowadays… He attempted to weaponize the police knowing that whatever he said would more than likely work against us. He was perfectly in his rights to ask us to leave. But to weaponize calling the police is something I can’t overlook and if you allow this then you are complicit. We will no longer be treated differently and accept it. I will wait for your response before I go any further. This employee should be reprimanded and honestly, he should be charged by the police with providing false information. There was no crime committed or attempted to be committed, we simply did not pull out quick enough. And when we did, he raced behind my car and wrote down my license plate. I’m a business owner and my employees who were with me witnessed the whole thing.

I’ve been to this one since multiple times and it’s always been great normally I don’t write bad reviews but this last experience was kind of a nightmare. There were only two runners working there on a Sunday and the busiest time and two plain hot dogs took 35 minutes to get to. I have my lights on and nobody came to my car and there was nobody watching other cars lights so they just sat there. I saw multiple people not waited on. Really disappointing.

Food’s what you’d expect from Swensons, but the serving staff is subpar at best. They’re usually all fraternizing with each other when cars are waiting to be served. This location consistently doesn’t pick up their phone either. Definitely unlike other Swensons I frequent – in the worst of ways.
