Sweety Hut Thai Restaurant – West Covina, CA
We had a wonderful meal at Sweety Hut Thai! From the moment we arrived, the service was kind and attentive, and the ambiance felt inviting and cozy. The menu is extensive, offering everything from flavorful curries to fresh salads and delicious appetizers. 
We started with Chicken Satay and Fried Wontons—both were tasty, well-seasoned, and a great way to whet the appetite. The chicken satay came with a rich peanut sauce, and the fried wontons had just the right amount of crisp. 
For entrees, we went with a curry and also tried the Pad Thai Noodles. The curry was creamy, fragrant, and full of fresh ingredients; the Pad Thai was balanced in sweetness, spice, and texture, with plenty of fresh vegetables and noodles cooked just right. 
Dessert was a sweet finish—something like Mango sticky rice, which was perfect. Light, not overly heavy, and the mango was ripe and juicy. 
Overall, Sweety Hut Thai delivered on authenticity and flavor. If you’re craving Thai in the West Covina / San Gabriel Valley area, this place is a gem. Fresh ingredients, strong flavors, great service, and a menu with lots of variety. Highly recommend!

Very lowkey spot. Service is fast and amazing. Servers are very friendly and people oriented. Food is amazing! Pricing is actually amazing, not expensive and you get good portions. Parking may be a little tight, but other than that everything was AMAZING.

Ordered an extra large order which was 60 dollars with delivery. I ordered sticky rice which shows a photo of mango sticky rice with mangos and cream in it on their menu. I only got a block of rice and don’t qualify for a refund with DoorDash for it… normally I’d be a return customer too but I got ripped off

Dropped in for the first time. It is in a small shopping center on the corner of Merced and Glendora. The food was delicious! The Tom Khar soup was one of my favorites; it was medium spicy, creamy, kinda sweet. I had the pineapple curry with beef, medium spicy and mouth watering. Coming back!

Ken provided exceptional customer service throughout our dining experience, making us feel welcomed and attending to our needs. His friendly service and attentiveness added to the overall positive dining experience.
Atmosphere:
The place is easily identifiable within the plaza, thanks to the big “Thai Restaurant” sign on the building. The interior was clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant ambiance for diners. The restaurant was semi-empty, which may have been due to the drizzly weather or the late hour.
Food & Pricing:
Sweety Hut Thai offers a wide selection of Thai dishes to choose from. We ordered the Pad Thai combo, which came with fried wonton, salad, fried rice, and a complimentary veggie soup (only for dine-in) priced at $12.45. The Tom Yum soup, customizable in spice level (Mild/Medium/Hot/Extra Hot), also priced at $11.95, was particularly delicious. Additionally, we enjoyed the Pad See Ew with chicken for $11.95. It’s worth noting that a 15% service charge applies for groups of 6 or more. Overall, the food was above average and budget-friendly priced.

This spot is pretty good. I’ve been coming for a couple of years. I have no complaints whatsoever. It’s a good place for late night Thai. They close at 10 pm, including dine in. Again, pretty good.
