A hidden gem in Hemet! Great service, great food, and a nice atmosphere with a country feel. Unsure when they have live music, but they had one when we went on a Friday. You can sit in the first room if you want to eat in a more quiet setting. I highly recommend their fried zucchini appetizer! So delicious. I also had the $20 2 meat combo plate that you also get to pick 2 sides. I chose the tri tip & brisket and it looked like I barely touched it. In addition to the appetizer, the plate alone is enough to share with 2 people. Their bbq chicken was also delicious. The people that works here were very helpful and friendly. They have outdoor seating if you like. I highly recommend this place.

The time to go is around 4p.m.between shift change, less crowded, catch the end of all the 1p.m. games. Irish Nachos !! How amazing, simple adjustment. BBQ sauce BBQ and BBQ chips instead of tortilla chips and salsas . She had the ribeye I had the sampler. 4 choices of meat 3 sides, UNBELIEVABLE SAUCE!!!
ITS THE SAUCE PEOPLE!
That’s what makes this place stand aside from the other BBQ joints. Ok would have given 5⭐’s but the drinks were too strong… ( Said no body EVER!! )

I wasn’t too impressed. We ordered the sampler platter for two, and it was not as good as I was expecting. The tri-tip was dry, the brisket seemed like we got the bottom of the barrel, and the Mac n Cheese was watery. Also, the steak fries had no seasoning to them. We did like the sweet butter that comes with the (very dense) cornbread. The breakfast here is good, but I won’t be returning for lunch or dinner.

I had the Irish Nachos based on the recommendations of other reviewers and I was very satisfied. It was a great meld or flavors with a sweet barbecue sauce. The one thing that surprised me is that the meat wasn’t over-salted, which is what many places do in order to make you feel like the food tastes better than it does, but it’s really just satisfying your craving for salt. And if you’re the type of person who likes a lot of salt, then there’s a salt shaker right there on the table for you. The server was attentive and the full bar had 50 cents off drinks during Happy Hour, 12pm-6pm. Also during Happy Hour you get $2 off appetizers.

Man oh man what an awesome experience! This place has it all! Super good barbecue, excellent smoked meats and a real nice variety of side dishes. We start with the poppers and they delivered. Nothing mild about those tasty treats. Then the sample platter. A good way to try out what they have to offer. Don’t forget the ham! Ending with the brownie to cool off the palate; that ice cream was to die for!!! And the kids menu is well rounded. We will be back! Try it! You will be glad you did!

Day before mother’s day visit.
Food: The pork was tender, I’d suggest the sandwich and mac; which was good also, as a side. The Sauce had a hint of spice and smokey rich.
Make sure to get a tea, soda or some other flavored beverage instead of plain tap water- cause Hemet tap water no es bueno.
2 Biggest issue’s I had was
1. Only one staff member was wearing a mask, CA code still requires masks so I hope the proprietor steps his game up on this soon
2. The Bar patrons on the other-side of the restaurant tend to come outside and smoke near us eating on the patio. I get that alcohol has higher profit margins but please separate us that want to eat from those that want to drink and smoke. We got little babies out here on the patio with families trying not to catch Covid or Cancer

Best BBQ and Bar in Hemet! Wonderful staff, delicious food, clean, and laid-back atmosphere. I highly recommend patronizing Sweet’s smokehouse regularly and often for a scrumptious bite to eat, or cool libation 7-days a week. They have a patio with outdoor seating, full-bar, and live music Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 7-10pm. Enjoy!!!

Feel like it has gone down in quality over the years. The ambiance was not upkept and it smelled really bad of cigarettes. I ordered the Mac and cheese balls and the fried green beans. The fried green beans weren’t bad. For my main course I ordered the baby back ribs. They were drowned in BBQ sauce and the meat was over cooked. I would not recommend this place.

Went on a Sunday early afternoon and the dining area wasn’t crowded, got seated right away, and the service was fast. Had the stuffed French toast for brunch and it was amazing. Staff was very nice and helpful. There is street parking and some unlabelled lots so while it’s not clearly marked, there is plenty of parking.
