Our menu includes something for everyone. Our steaks are angus choice, hand cut and marinated in house by our experienced kitchen staff. We offer fresh seafood, specialty pastas, chicken and veal entrees, half pound burgers, fresh salads and homemade soups. Along with our dining room and bar, we offer a private banquet room. I kept seeing posts from the north shore dining page, the prime rib looked phenomenal. We did get there a little before 4 and they still offered us prime rib (at a med rare temp, which is exactly what we prefer), however I ultimately wanted to save that for another day and went with the shaved prime rib dip sandwich. I couldnt believe how fresh and juicy the meat was, the bread was so soft too. Such a great, hearty meal with extremely reasonable prices. Very pleasant experience, our server was sweet and attentive. I cant wait to go back!

First time for 4 of us trying out The Sweetheart Inn. We all got steak of some sort. I had the rib eye. My favorite cut. It was the most delicious steak I have ever had! I can’t get over how good my meal was. Best ever. We all thought the same thing and can’t wait to go back. Our bartender Jillian was so nice. Very attentive. We would love to have her serve us again. We will be back. SOON! Thank you for a great experience.

We had the rib eye steak and lobster pie, both of which were cooked perfectly! Topped it off with sharing the peanut butter/ chocolate dessert. A wonderful experience all around!

Everything was delicious. What a great hidden gem. Recommended by Phantom Gourmet. Our only complaint were the fries were not hot. We had lunch but we will return to try the dinner menu.

Just wanted to update, came back in August with my family for a Birthday celebration and we had a wonderful time. Same great service and food.

My wife and I visited the Sweetheart inn on the 17th and are so happy we finally made it. The restaurant is under new ownership and we wanted to try it.
We were greeted right away and seated in a nice booth. Restaurant clean and bright, very nice atmosphere. Our server, Cara is really nice and very helpful with my wifes gluten requests. She made out time even more enjoyable.
Drinks came quickly after we ordered them, I had a martini and my wife had a margarita – both delicious.
We split the Maple Scallops appetizer and the taste was out of this world. The brussel sprouts, bacon and maple worked so well together… highly recommend!
I ordered the ribeye and my wife had a swordfish special.
The portions were reasonable and the food was delicious.
Very happy we got to visit and we will be back…

My husband and I tried out the Sweetheart Inn and it was incredible! The drinks were perfectly made as was the food. The staff from the hostess to the waitress were kind, friendly and knowledgeable. We both got steak items which were cooked perfectly! Unfortunately we were not able to try the baked potato because they ran out but we saw plates going out prior to getting seated and they looked great. We will definitely return to try some additional meals. The cookies with the check are a very “sweet” touch.

Best dinner I’ve had in a long time. Scallop appetizer was fantastic. All 4 steaks in our group came out perfect. Various sides were all delicious. We’ll definitely be back. Jillian at the bar was friendly, professional, and personable. Well done Sweetheart Inn !

We like going. It’s not a chain restaurant and that matters to us. The food is good. Sometimes better than others. The bartender Sue is terrible. She is rude and slow. She’ll leave you sitting there while she washes dishes. And if you try and get her attention she will be rude. Get at table. Don’t sit at the bar. That being said, even at a table drinks are slow. She can’t keep up. They need a solid bartender who is friendly and able to keep up.

If you’re gonna charge $18 for a martini, fine. Be transparent. Upcharging for brine. Not cool. Upcharging for olives. Not cool. Not sure if we were upcharged for the ice.
