I was excited about another healthy option without walking distance of us, so we gave Sweetgreen a try today for lunch. The servers were outstanding, and the restaurant was clean. The individual items in our bowls were pretty bland. The chicken in my bowl had a strange, over-processed texture. The sweet potatoes in my dish had a nicely roasted flavor and texture. There is a surprisingly small amount of seating in the restaurant-people were waiting for us to get up so they could have a seat, and there wasn’t an employee working the cafe area to clean tables between guests. I wished that there wasn’t so much trash/recycling created from my lunch: paper bowls, napkins, glass bottle for drink, fork. It’s a fantastic location.

Our food was great! We had the steak protein plate and the hot honey chicken plate. The ingredients were extremely fresh and tasty while being healthy. We felt great after eating our meals.

The food was yummy and the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. You can modify any bowl on the menu or build your own. There is sign that tells about the ingredients and what is organic.

About an hour after eating here I started cramping and had explosive D….. Then in an attempt to keep anyone else from getting sick I tried to alert someone and just got stuck in some continuous loop which never resulted in speaking to someone. Nor did anyone return my message. My suggestion- STAY away at least until they work out their food safety issues.
