Reviews
First impressions were positive. The setup was bright and clean, and the sheer variety of ingredients on display was impressive. We’re talking beyond your basic iceberg lettuce – there were vibrant mixed greens, peppery arugula, and even some tender spinach. The toppings selection was equally expansive, ranging from the usual suspects like shredded carrots and cucumbers to more exciting options like pickled onions, quinoa, and cherry tomatoes. They even had a decent selection of proteins, including roasted tofu.
What really stood out was the freshness of everything. The vegetables looked crisp and vibrant, and nothing seemed wilted or sad. You could tell they were keeping things well-stocked and turning over ingredients regularly.
The dressing selection was also noteworthy. They had miso dressing and pesto vinaigrette. They had a new item on the menu, Air fried Avocado oil fries , it came in a cute little green packet. It was definitely 10/10.
Sg offers a solid salad bar experience. The quality and variety of ingredients are definitely the highlights, and you can easily build a healthy and satisfying meal. It’s a great option for a quick and customizable lunch or dinner. I’d definitely go back!
Value for food. Big gap. My plate cost about $18. I think it’s priced too high. It is a healthier option than similar rice or salad bowl type places like Chipotle or Moes. But the price increase is a bit steep.
Service: I can’t rate this, as my manager placed a group order and picked it up. The only interaction I had with staff is I was able to get a number to text to ask questions about the menu (such as which of the 3 chicken options were breast vs thigh meat).
They weren’t busy at all as there were only two other tables taken… perhaps the employees could come out, clean tables, sweep and empty the full to the top trash cans. There were bits of food on all the tables, plastic utensil, napkins, and cup on the floor.
Salad was yummy though and at $17 not bad since it had chicken. I sat for a good 30 min eating and not a single employee came out to check status of patio…. Oh wait! A young lady just did this moment. Maybe they saw me writing the review from inside … however, she did dump the bits of food on the floor instead of catching it with her hand… so now the floor is dirtier. Alas, and I believe she ran out of steam after cleaning 4 tables… she did not pick up all the items I listed above off the floor .. a job poorly done. My partner and I own a restaurant and we are always cleaning, dusting and sweeping, we ask the same of our employees. I think if people make the effort to choose you and come to eat at your place, the least you can do is make it look inviting and clean.
