Came on a Friday afternoon and the place was very clean and organized! It wasn’t at a busy time but the negative reviews of this place had me baffled. Our salads were perfect and the team members were extremely kind!!

I stopped in to try the kale Caesar salad. I made my order at a kiosk (no customer service) and added avocado and “steak” to give it a little more protein. Ended up being 22 dollars. The Caesar dressing and the kale IDEA is great. The end product…not so much. The chicken is literally white because it’s so under seasoned. The “steak” that was an extra 6 dollars was 3 pieces of COLD THIN SLICED ROAST BEEF THAT WAS ALSO (surprise) NOT SEASONED. it was nasty trying to get it down I wish they would have said what it was: “roast beef worse than Arby’s” instead of steak cause it’s very misleading and disappointing. Especially for the price. Will NOT be going back, go to CHOPT, if you want a quality salad, this is NOT the place. While the employees are friendly enough, no one says hi or acknowledges you when you walk in, and they only make their presence known when your order is up. Meh

I am pretty picky, but I truly enjoyed my order. The server was patient and friendly and she provided great recommendations. There was a generous amount of portions in the bowl. I had salmon, veggies and rice with other ingredients which were very tasty.. Suprisingly, I was full for the rest of the afternoon and evening. (Im usually snacking after dinner.) I was very happy with everything.

As a Sweetgreen fan, it saddens me how this specific Sweetgreen location is not a place that you want to go.
You never get an acknowledgement the moment you walk in, even when you are the only customer in the store. They treat you as if you are an inconvenience if you ask them, “Hi, I’m here for a pick up.” I’ve never received such a dirty look from an employee for asking about my online order.
Food is good. But you feel very unpleasant every time you visit them.

I live in the Fair lakes community so I visit this store at a minimum bi-weekly. Today I had a poor interaction with the store manager. I placed an order online at 6:25pm with an eta for pick up at 6:45pm. I show up at 6:45pm on the dot. There’s 4 people in line and 2 others like me standing waiting for online orders. The employees are moving fast there’s 3 of them, it’s obvious they’re understaffed.
When the manger gets to me and asks my name, she says ‘your order hasn’t been started yet.’ That’s it, nothing else. No management of my expectations, no sorry, just it’s not ready.
I’m double parked, so I said I’ll return and parked my car and went to uncle Julio’s for a drink, thinking an additional 30-40 minutes is more than enough time. At 7:22pm I’m back at SG, 3 new people are in line 3 waiting. The manager notices me and says the steak needs to be cut, it’s not ready, but it will be fresh.
My salad is finally ready at 7:27pm. I didn’t receive a thank you for waiting, nothing. While I speak to others who placed an order online and received their items in the 20 minute timeframe as the app says.
So I asked her how can I be accommodated for an hour wait?
She says it’s fresh. I said ok, but I waited an hour for a salad. She then pulls my salad back towards her and says so don’t want it? You want a refund?
I said no compensate me for the time. She ended up providing me a $10 gift card.
Pushing the salad and gift card to me on the counter while mumbling and walking away.
She’s understaffed, visibly stressed, I get that. Most mangers offer a complimentary soft drink, water, desert, something proactive to say I appreciate you waiting. The service was disheartening and unfortunately there’s a lot of training that’s needed at this location.

I love Sweetgreen and order from here all the time. But I’ve been really dissatisfied lately with several incorrect orders and food quality issues. We recently found a fly in our sealed food.

Normally I’m a big fan of sweetgreen but this location has been disappointing. In my past two orders, I had chicken missing from my “chicken pesto parm” and the next time I had multiple chicken bones in the salad. The quality at this location is not up to par with my other experiences at sweetgreen in the DC area

Horrible attitude from the employee!! Slammed my stuff around and eye rolled me when I asked about adding kale and if the wild rice had quinoa in it. Slammed my bowl and me and turned away. VERY rude and normally we love SweetGreen. (Not this location)
