We had 2 dishes one of which was custom made; what a great idea! I could order whatever I wanted in the salad. Lovely fresh salad with salmon and my partner had a steak dish with rice of which there was loads! Makes a change from fries although we did order a portion of rippled ones which were wicked!

I just had a quick stop by to have a little snack and rest; I ordered the ripple fries and were very soggy, a bit disappointing.
But looking forward to going back and trying the salads, I loved the concept!

This is the closest Sweetgreen to me. I’ve been getting the Spicy Green Goddess for the last couple of times (but replacing spring mix with kale). I don’t know what it is, but when they mention that there’s no seed oils and more protein, I always fall for it. This location is clean, and the set up looks a bit different compared to the one I visit near Bryant Park (i.e., ordering on a kiosk instead of standing in line). It wasn’t that busy around noon and was easy to pick up my online order. There were a few tables inside where you can sit and eat. Would be back to try other salads/warm bowls!

Nice looking shop. I was initially happy to find it. Today, however, the only person at the counter was obsessively looking at his phone and using his hands as tissues to wipe his nose. Then he put the printed order tickets on top of our food as garnish. It was all extremely unsanitary and thus unappetizing. He did not read the tickets carefully and made mistakes. More training is required, and clear guidelines should be set regarding smartphone use and proper food handling.

I saw the new add for the caramelized steak and knew that we needed to try this place!

When we arrived, the staff said hello but were otherwise disengaged. We had some questions as I have allergies and my in-laws do not speak English. The young adults working were clearly annoyed by our questions and continually had to pull their supervisor to ask (they were unfortunately lacking the essential training and did not have much product knowledge, if any). This is not due to being new, as this was the case with every employee except the supervisor answering their questions.
While making our food, they kept mixing up our bowls (which was frustrating enough if we didn’t have food allergies). They were jumping around each other on the line, mixing things up and getting disorganized with orders. At the cash, they had punched in half the order, mixed up the bowls and had to figure out which bowls were for which customers and then charge us. The cashier that punched in our order jumped on the line and left the supervisor to cash us out, who then needed to reverify the order and ensure he charged us properly. It was a disaster.

We ordered 4 items and drinks. For New York, pricing was good.

The Steak chopped- had to remove cheese and substitute sauce due to allergy. Steak was over cooked and had been sitting for some time. Otherwise, it was a salad and the ingredients were fresh.

BBQ Chicken salad – was extremely flavourful but spicy. Ingredients were fresh.

Crispy Chicken bowl – was very spicy due to the dressing. Could not eat it due to the spice level and Mom got a different item.

Little Harvest – the sweet potatoes were the best and tasted good. The chicken was okay but not great, and missing flavour. The apple was browning but fresh so were crisp and yummy.

I would recommend this restaurant for a quick salad or meal, but you’re paying for what you’re getting- wholesome ingredients at restaurant mark up.

However I would NOT recommend this location as the staff is disengaged, disorganized, untrained and lacking the essentials to provide a good customer experience.

I have run restaurants and have NEVER had a team that was less collaborative and synchronized than the team at this location.

Always want to try sweetgreen. Got here during the peak hour, so I saw the sign that you could download app to order and skip the line. And I saw if you download the app you will get a 5$ credit for your order. I did that and place the order than found out that you have to use the app and scan to pay to get the 5 credit, which was not making sense and I’m not happy about it. Anyway, I should have read the sign more carefully so I would get trick by that. I waited 10 minutes because the app show my bowl was still preparing. But by the time, there were no customer in the store, so I went to pick up area and found my bowel surprisingly. There was obviously a confusion and perhaps misinformation from the app or perhaps there were not connected at all. After finishing my dinner, my app told me that my order was ready to pick up. The food was good and delicious but the overall experience was very confused and not pleasant.

I used to love SG, but this was the worst salad I’ve ever paid $16 for. I got the crispy rice salad with medium dressing mixed in – I taste no dressing or crispy rice, and is just so tasteless and bland. I will not be returning.

Like finer dining for salads, many choices and warm and cold ingredients well crafted. Easy and fun ordering through the app to peruse the various choices and easy pickup on a large shelf!

Recommend the roasted tofu, kale, and wild rice…maybe the raw beets is not my taste.

This is the future of restaurants. Half machine half human. You can not order from a human and have to use a kiosk. 2nd trip to sweetgreen my nephew who suggested we go is a regular. Glad I tried again great place for nutritious meal on the quick side
