Finally found a spot that balances amazing flavor with wholesome food. The sandwiches were packed with flavor (the onions and sauce are 10/10), and the sides were the perfect complement.

My friend and I were visiting San Antonio and felt the need to eat some salad after several days of greasier restaurant food. This place was the perfect pick! We got the eden salad and loaded red beans and rice—it was delicious and refreshing, and felt like a very nourishing meal. The employees were super friendly as well and service was quick. Great place!

A good healthy option for those seeking some good greens. It’s a small place that’s easily overlooked. We actually drove past it the first time. The parking lot is a small unpaved lot.

I ordered the Eden salad, and added the blackened chicken with lemon garlic sauce. It was one of the freshest salads I’ve ever had! There is only outside covered-patio seating, but a nice view of the Tower of Americas is in the distance. The parking lot is very small, but you can park along the side street if need be, and finally, they currently close on Mon & Tues.

Just had a lovely dinner. Simple, honest food, good music. I am vegan, had red beans & rice, side of broccoli, side of green beans. My hubby had the mushroom burger. Everything was delicious and such gracious service. I really appreciate the thoughtfulness of them making all their side dishes vegan. Nice to have plenty of good choices.

This place is an absolute gem in San Antonio! If you are looking for southern comfort food that doesn’t make you feel heavy afterward, Sweet Yams is the spot. It is arguably the best “clean” eating experience in the city.
Everything tastes fresh and homemade. It feels like home cooked food. My favorite is the chili love shrimp entree with turkey chili.
For dessert, you cannot leave without trying the mini sweet potato pie. It is life-changing!

Chili love blackened salmon was sooo good !!!! Flavorful , juicy —- just perfect really . The Mac n cheese was a nice touch (LOOOVE) and the chicken Philly sandwich was juicy, chicken just melted in my mouth. WE WILL BE BACK <3
