Food was good. We ordered the Hangover Burger, Philly Cheesesteak, and Funnel Fries. Burger was good. The meat was almost like a smash burger. Could have used some seasoning on the meat, but I can’t pass a burger with a fried egg. Philly was good, but again could have used some seasoning. But had plenty of onions, peppers, and cheese. Funnel fries were very good. Only thing that could have made it better is if it has some dipping sauce like strawberry or chocolate. Atmosphere was great. Pool table, arcade games, and plenty of seating. Service was really good. I will be back.

I got the jalapeño bomb burger. The flavor was great. Good curly fries. My husband had the Philly cheesesteak and he thought the meat was dried and they could add more cheese. Overall, we enjoy this small restaurant in Douglass and it was worth the visit. Would definitely come again.

Comfort food resteraunt in a re-purposed nursing home. Clean resteraunt, personable and friendly staff, hot good food served as you requested, all in a bright, cheerful environment. Chef split the single order of onion rings into two seperate containers so we could each have our own portions. One order of onion rings is enough for m wife and myself! I have been there a few times and the food has always been good. I have had a few of the menu items but I am stuck on the Cowboy Up burger with breaded jalapeno’s. Mmmm Mmmm good. While I have not ordered them the desserts we see others order appear deliscious and decadent.

Really tasty food in a small town diner. There is a lot of variety and they do daily specials, which is great for a town with only a handful of restaurants. Burgers are great, as are the loaded fries. The various ice cream/desserts I have tried have all been excellent and very reasonably priced.

Note on the parking/entrance for non-locals: Park and enter on the back side of the building, opposite side of the highway.

This a hidden Gem out in Douglas Ks that is definitely worth the trip. Now, mind you, if you’re not paying attention, you might just drive by it because they converted a senior citizen home kitchen into a restaurant…sounds crazy but it works. The hamburgers are delicious, and the staff is more like family to the locals… well, to everyone, really. Will definitely be going back so many burgers to choose from Slap yo Momma to the Will Roger’s, I want to try them all.

Should be a 4.5 but .5 isn’t an option. The down from the 5 is that it was so cold in the restaurant we couldn’t wait to get outside.

The food was amazing. I had a Slap Yo Mamma burger, it included bacon (not crispy if that matters to you) a hot link, jalapenos, slightly grilled onions, and a spicy bbq sauce. My wife had a jalapeno bomb. We both loved the burgers

For a side, they cost extra, we had Cheese Curds. They were just frozen curds but were good.

They also had a large selection of shakes but we were too full to try one. The plus for drinks is this place doesn’t try to make all their profit from them. Fountain drinks are just $1.50 which is rare to see today

Over all, it is worth the drive from Wichita that we took

Loved the food! I’ve only visited once but the biscuits were nice and soft, with a good chicken breast split between the two and smothered in a very tasty gravy. The only odd thing I found was coming to the counter to order, rather than ordering from the table. I hope to come back to try their chicken fried steak!

Kinda hard to find. I get it, a new business place starting up in the back of a existing building. In due time they will make it easier for all to find. My Philli cheese cake sandwich was awesome. I got fried onions rings, corn bites and fried pickles, all tasty for $26.00. The pickles were spicy, other than that, I was pleased with the amount and cost. I see good growth in this young company.
