Always great coming back here. This has been a watering hole for decades. I Isa the checkers and working fireplace but mostly it’s the same. I can relax after

Friday night just after 6pm. We were seated in a minute. Drinks came within 5 minutes. I ordered the burger medium, and it was cooked perfectly. My friend had the pulled pork with man-n-cheese, and he liked it. The prices were comparable to any other place with similar menu items. In fact, the burger was actually less expensive. We also tried the crab chowder. It also great, and had nice crab in it. Chris was our server and she was very attentive and got it all right and in a timely way. All in all, a great dinner.

Cool place in the heart of Williamsburg attached to the Lodge. Took a group of 10 in to enjoy dinner. Historic pictures hung throughout. Had a couple old fashions from the bar they were tasty. Service was excellent. Steve one of the employees told us about the bread pudding so had to try it. And it was very good. If you are ever in Historic Williamsburg it would be a good spot to take the family for a good meal.

Unique place for authentic colonial fare. One of several restaurants under the management of Colonial Williamsburg Resorts. This location is an bar and open seating area for guests connected to the Lodge. Offers, live music. Friendly staff.

A fine hotel restaurant with attentive and friendly staff and a solid menu. We enjoyed their cocktails, salads, and pimento cheese a great deal. I would have appreciated a few more options for both appetizers and entrees, and my burger needed a bit better execution. The bun wasn’t toasted enough and turned a bit soggy from the sauce. All in all, a fine experience with some room for improvement.

This is our “go-to” Restaurant when we stay at the Williamsburg Lodge while visiting Colonial Williamsburg. It is a step above typical Tavern Fare, with a very nice and diverse assortment of Appetizers and Entrees… several of which are excellent choices for my Vegetarian Wife! They have a superb Dessert Menu… so save room for some Pecan Pie or Chocolate Pumpkin Layer Cake. The Waitstaff are pleasant and engaging… and the prices are more reasonable than any of the other Colonial Williamsburg eateries.

We enjoyed a delicious meal at The Lodge. The cocktails were delicious, and the atmosphere is lovely — especially if the weather is nice and you can sit in the courtyard.

We enjoyed the festivities in the Historic Distric of Colonial Williamsburg. It was well after after 7 before we finished and there were no late evening options for dining. We desided to try the Sweet Tea and Barley for Dinning since we had a room at the Williamsburg Lodge. We were pleasantly surprised. The variety of appetizers made me want to skip a main corse. We ordered the crispy Brussel Sprouts which were awesome! Because they serve supper until 7 we desided to order a hamburger with fries and I ordered an impossible burger with cheese and bacon on it with collards. The burger was cooked

Hotel bar/ restaurant that can be noisy or quiet depending on the guests. We had a light meal of the fried shrimp appitizer and the crab chowder with the Mason Dixon cheesecake for dessert. I would recommend all 3 items. Other items ordered around us were the yard bird and the biscuits which was recommended by the eaters.
