My husband and I were visiting the area and decided to take our meal to go to watch the sunset on the parkway. Customer service was awesome, they packed the nachos deconstructed for us for the ride. It took us about 30 minutes to find our view spot from the truck but all the food was still warm. Great BBQ sloppy Joe! Veggies with nachos was so fresh and the flavors on point. Pork rinds with that lemon pepper buffalo sauce was such a flavor explosion. The cupcake was decadent and the perfect closer to the day!

Sweet southern funk is amazing, and their staff makes every customer feel like family! Took me awhile to stop and give them a try but once I did, there was no turning back. The fresh made pork skins are so good and the best snack! The sandwiches are the perfect blend of classic and original ingredients. They are amazing!

My wife and I were in town celebrating our anniversary. We stopped at this place to grab some food on the go and take it up to the parkway to watch the sunset. After finding out, they packed our food deconstructed so we could put it together when we got there and it not be soggy. The friendliness and kindness of the people in this area warms my heart. The food was so good! We had such a great time. 10/10 service 10/10 flavor. Thank you for making our day.

Just happened to be passing through the area when I stumbled upon this place, so I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. I got the double funk dogs with the seasoned pork rinds, and everything was delicious! Great food, great service, and reasonable prices. I will DEFINITELY be returning the next time I come through this area!

Had a sloppy joe here and while the sandwich came out good, the fries were not edible. They were cooked wayyy too long. The insides were dried completely out. Ive never had a crinkle fry like that before. I had to throw them away 🙁 Being that there were only 2 components to the plate, it’s sad because I really wanted something to go with the sandwich. I would go back but next time I’ll be sure to let them know I like the fries cooked less.

Exceptional food truck- one of the more underground spots I’ve had in NC. The owners were incredibly friendly to us and helped us out with selections! Had their spicy chicken sandwich, and burger- both loaded with vegetables and flavor. A must if you’re in the area. My only issue is they’re not closer to me!

Such a pleasant surprise. We were in a time crunch, so we stopped at this food truck, and the food was delicious! The crunchwrap with a 3 bean house patty rocked! So good! Husband enjoyed his Fender Hill Funky Chicken Sandwich. This food truck definitely takes things up a level and brings the flavors and combinations.

Little gem tucked away! We split the fried chicken house salad with their homemade blackberry balsamic and also homemade honey mustard. Absolute HUGE portions! I recommend stopping here on your travels through. Lots of grassy area to rest and have your kids safely roam. We also got to pick blackberries while waiting on our order!
