My husband and I visited this restaurant for our wedding anniversary. I was very excited because everything on the menu sounds incredible, however, the actual experience left a lot to be desired.

The foods & drinks were great❤️ I wish they have more food selections on the menu. Definitely if u come for drinks, they are so many to choose You name it! Love the ambience, & the service is superb! They also hold some cool events, check their event calendar & be sure to make reservation for a group.

My bistro steak was pretty good. The cocktails were great. The service was great. The cheesecake was epic.

Their prosciutto wrapped asparagus is delicious & a perfect four-person appetizer. The fiery shrimp linguine has well balanced heat, flavor, and sauce consistency. Their crème brûlée has a thick caramelization crust that bitter. I’m not sure if that bitterness was intentional but either way the sweet/bitterness was actually a very tasty surprise! Sweet Red is a solid recommend!

We were lucky to get a table outside without a reservation on a Saturday night. Service was great. The artichoke hatch chili dip was wonderful. Then I had the smoked salmon crustini main (with spinach, capers and a olive tampenade and enjoyed it immensely. My companion had the Chickpea Tika Curry and found it flavorful and as good as that in any Thai restaurant. We shared the Gran Marnier Chocolate Cheesecake and it was fabulous. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Loved everything here! Go Albany wow how much it has changed in the past 10 years. Sweet red had a fabulous charcuterie tray and shrimp pasta with a great wine list. Friendly and knowledgeable waist staff. Fun vibe and energy too.

We love going here. The staff is such a pleasure to chat with, food is delicious and it’s a very unique and beautiful restaurant. The last time we were there for dinner, the yellow jackets loved my husband’s steak, so they quickly accommodated us to move us inside. Lunch is awesome, too! Highly recommend!

There aren’t enough stars to rate Sweet Red Bistro. Food, service, and atmosphere are off the charts amazing!! Chef Jesse does an amazing job preparing meals, Erika serves our food with a beautiful smile and grace, Wakiesha, the cocktail artist, makes the best cocktails, can’t have just one Cindy the owner has a heart of gold and always makes sure everyone is treated extra special. Thank you, sweet red, for always providing our community with an amazing experience ❤️

Great food and cocktails. Here’s a tip, … if you hate gorgonzola you have to try every dish they make here. You would never know. My sister and I hate gorgonzola and we decided, after much coaxing by the owner to try their Gorgonzola dishes. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED!! Fantastic.

I made reservations on Friday evening for my granddaughter and l as it was the last day of her visit. We had looked at the menu online so knew what we were going to order. The bistro is expensive but the reviews were good. It wasn’t busy when we arrived and we were seated right away, however no one acknowledged our presence or even attempted to take even an appetizer order. After 25 minutes l got up and asked if we had been forgotten. I returned to my granddaughter and waited. Ten minutes later another couple were seated and the waitress approached them and immediately took their order! The entrees here are in the $30 range and the house wine $15 per glass. The appetizers were also expensive. For these prices l expect outstanding service- not to be ignored for 30 minutes. We left. They were not even busy.
