YUM! After a long day of hiking in Acadia we stumbled upon Sweet Peas. This place is a little hidden gem right outside of Bar Harbor. Fresh farm to table food located on a beautiful property. We shared a special appetizer that was the freshest tomatoes i’ve ever had. We also had the chickpeas and Plancho Potatoes. Both of which were incredible. However, the star of the show was “The Plowman” pizza. So fresh and the sauce they put in the middle of the pizza is delicious to dip your pizza crust in. The staff were very friendly and gave great recommendations. The one thing we are sad about is we can’t have this place whenever we want:/ We have been home now for several days and still bringing this food up and how amazing it was.

When I say that Christian (and his team, John, Michelle, and others) went above and beyond for our small wedding celebration last weekend, I mean it. From separate passed appetizer plates prepared for the bride and groom to ensure we had bites of everything, to supplementing our decorations with their own candles and fresh cut flowers, it seemed like they could read our minds with what we wanted and what we needed.
When the night got cold, Christian pushed out hot apple cider for guests, and John made fresh French press decaf coffee for two guests (even bringing out his own roasted beans as a take-home gift for them). Blankets provided by Sweet Pea’s were a huge hit with guests, and were used all night long.
Communication leading up to the event (and during the event) was so easy. We dropped decorations off to Sweet Pea’s the day prior to the event; it was arranged perfectly and even organized for an easy take home after. During our event, servers made sure to introduce themselves to our one gluten free guest who got multiple separate appetizers (something we didn’t ask for, but was just *done*), and she remarked that this was the best wedding reception/dinner she had ever been to.
Not to mention, our food was incredible and guests raved all night long. When our guests ended the night tipsier than expected, Christian was quick to offer his catering van to bring guests back to our cottages down the road and insisted they could simply grab their cars the next day.
I cannot recommend Sweet Pea’s enough, and if I could give six stars I would. Thank you guys for the perfect end to a perfect wedding day!

This is such a special spot! We started with drinks – the watermelon mojito was crisp and refreshing, and the jalapeño cocktail was unique with just the right kick. For food, the daily pizza with an olive oil and garlic base (not even on the menu) blew us away, while the Harvest Pizza and plancha potatoes were equally delicious.
What really makes Sweet Pea’s Farm Kitchen special is the atmosphere and their specials of the day.
Dining right on the farm with such beautiful surroundings felt warm and rustic, and we even got to stroll around the grounds after. Amazing food, creative drinks, and a gorgeous setting, highly recommend!

Day. Great lunch. Crispy chick peas should not be taken for granted ever! They were great! Salad very fresh and the chickpeas really made it also had great local beats and grilled potatoes.

We loved the food & vibes here so much we ate here twice during our vacation. The food was delicious, the cocktails were incredible and the ambience + service were impeccable. It felt like dining in a whimsical, fairy garden. Bonus points for the water bowl & love to our Golden’s who were along on the trip with us.
We tried two different pizzas, the caesar salad with grilled chicken, scallops and oysters and all were 10/10.

I was a bridesmaid (and actually the florist too) at this Sunday’s wedding at Sweet Pea’s and I cannot say enough praise about this venue! Christian, Tish, La, and the rest of the team was friendly, organized, and professional. The flow of the evening was perfect and everything made sense from a guest’s perspective. Gourmet, individualized delicious pizza pies just kept appearing at our table at every glance. The Mediterranean appetizer board was so yummy as well! I have been there once before just for dinner, and I would highly recommend. Casual, but beautiful setting and thoughtful service and food!

Had one of the best Cesar salads of my life here!! Weird thing to have loved so much, I know, but was truly spectacular. We also had the pepperoni pizza, beets, potatoes, and basque cheesecake – all of which were so so good. Our server was also very nice and helpful. Will definitely come back next time we’re in the area!

Great dinner and lovely setting. They have both indoor and outdoor seating but on a nice weather night the outdoor seating was just incredibly comfortable. Blueberry wine was nice. Pizza was nicely cooked and the crust was delicious. Good cheesecake to top it off.
Service was great—waitress very friendly.

We arrived at the cafe just before 5 and were seated right away. When we left there was a line – this cafe is just lovely. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available. I recommend outdoor seating because it is so pretty, with gardens and flowers adjacent to the outdoor seating. The food tasted as fresh as can be. We ordered several appetizers and pizzas. Everything was delicious, including the Lavender Collins I tried! Highly recommend!
