Very near the campus of John Carroll University. Clean restaurant, decent food and reasonable prices. The shrimp & grits was good. Sonja’s bagel was also good. My only criticism is that I thought our food could be warmer.

This was my third visit. There are a ton of options to try if you have allergies or are gluten free. This time I got a burger on gluten free bread and it was exactly what I was after. We eat on the patio with our dog, and have never had a bad experience. I keep meaning to try the desserts. They have cheesecake and what not right up front and they look wonderful, however sweet Melissa’s is right next to a Ben and Jerry’s, so I bet a lot of people forget about the dessert items. I will admit that it’s a bit expensive, bit worth it if you need the options for allergies.

We had been to Sweet Melissa before just to grab a couple of apps, and it left quite the impression. We just went back for brunch and it was even better! Everything on our table was amazing! Naila’s wrap was a huge surprise because it just looks like the average breakfast wrap, but it had so much flavor packed into it. The potatoes are the best breakfast preparation of a potato that I have had in quite some time. The shrimp and grits are a must try. This is definitely a gem in the neighborhood. A must visit.

Great service, food was not so good. My steak on one of the Cobbs was overcooked….I ordered medium rare and got medium well+. When I returned it and requested another steak, I got it back cooked rare. But that wasn’t the worst part of it, the steak tasted old/out of date. It just wasn’t good. At. All. Our server was really nice and accommodating, though. We have had much better experiences here in the past.

8/18/17, 9am. Great waitress, very responsive. However the chef could not figure out how to cook my eggs. I asked for them medium, they were over done on the outside and under done on the inside. Obviously the flame was too high. The waitress was helpful in getting the eggs redone. Unfortunately the second time around they were burned on the outside and slightly overcooked on the inside. Again the flame was too high. I shared my comments with the waitress, she was receptive and open to them. I hope that corrective action will be taken with the chef.

Terrible experience! Recommended this place for breakfast with coworkers. Asked for lemon in my water took 15 minutes to bring. Ordered an omelette and it was overcooked, my potatoes were burnt but my coworkers were fine. I asked the waitress if mine were burned or were my coworkers undercooked. She said she would bring me new ones. The second attempt was worst than the first and all the waitress said was this is how the cook gave them to me. I asked to speak with a manager. I was told no manager would be available until 12 or 1pm. The waitress forgot to put my order of french toast in after I reminded her she said the cook was preparing them. Everyone at the table had finished their meal and she brings french toast to the table and ask if I wanted her to box them up to take home. I asked would they be on my bill, she said yes. I replied no thank you. No refills were provided. No accommodation or customer service was provided. No apology or sympathy, just an oh well attitude.

Terrible customer service. I ordered a burger, medium; got a just about raw, lukewarm mess. My daughter got chicken tacos, also lukewarm. No manager came over to check in or apologize. The service was agonizingly slow. I wondered why it was so empty at lunchtime. It’s a shame, because the location and decor are great. I hope they can get it together.

This is my favorite weekend brunch spot. The menu is creative and priced appropriately, between 8 and 15 dollars. Service is great, quality is amazing. Seems to have a southern theme on some of the items. Biscuit’s and gravey, shrimp and grits, but then there is the corned beef hash and other items.

Moderately tasty food with high prices for what you get. Horrible service. I was at one of two tables during lunch service, and the waitress ignored our table for 45 minutes, even looking at us call her over and turning away. Giving it three stars instead of two because local businesses need love, but the service needs to be improved. Easy parking.

I got the pulled chicken risotto, and it was the bomb. It was perfectly cooked risotto. The sweetness of the squash and cranberries coupled with a touch of bacon created an delicious combo of savory and sweet. I would love seconds, but I desperately want to try the rest of the menu. The servers were excellent as well, and the food was brought rather quickly.
