We visited from another town and were really impressed by the interior. It has a real charm and we loved the atmosphere. The coffee was good, our runny eggs were overcooked but the avocado toast was delicious and well seasoned. Unfortunately, the service was poor. We stood up to buy some merch from the musicians right behind us and by the time we got back, our coffee was gone and my phone as well. Turns out the server just took everything assuming we left. It’s really sad that ruined our evening when all they had to do is just look around the room, we were less than a meter away.
We might give this place a chance again because of the music.

This is my first time visiting.
I am in town once or twice a year to visit family.
If you’re not a local, the place is a little hard to find. After reading other reviews, I know they’re working on more signage.
I do like the venue it has multi purpose potential.
They were short-staffed when we got there. The new waitress was really nice and we felt bad she was overwhelmed. Everyone who works here is really kind. They need more staff.
I ordered the biscuits and gravy. I think they need to add bit of sausage to the gravy or something to liven it up a little bit, it was a little bit runny and lukewarm. We didn’t have time to send it back.
The whole experience took more than an hour. So if you’re if you’re not retired, you might not have time.

I rarely frequent a restaurant twice in the same week, but this is an exception. The food and atmosphere on Monday was so
good that I could not wait to bring an out of town friend. We were not disappointed!
Not only were the club sandwiches delicious, we met the two owners and we treated by the band during their warmup
session.

Their signage needs major work. It took my friend and I 1 hour to find this restaurant even though we used GPS. We had to ask two other people in the area where this place was. This was the only restaurant opened in Brenham, TX on a Sunday late afternoon, which was disappointing as a business owner told us everything closed at 4pm on Sundays.
This is a very odd restaurant/bar/theater. It starts off as a shop, then turns into a theater and then finally a cafe. I would have to agree with the other reviews – their menu is extremely BASIC but the prices are super high for what you actually get.
For starters, the waitress we had was rude. She kept messing up our order and seemed irritated with us. At first, my friend and I ordered one sweet and one unsweetened iced tea. She, herself, said if she mixed up our drinks she would fix it, however, she messed up the refills twice. I ended up leaving my iced tea because I, myself, was annoyed with the entire situation. Then, my friend ordered an avocado toast with a poached egg. The waitress, again, stated if she messed up the poached egg to let her know. My fiend’s poached egg was well done (see picture) and not at all runny. We didn’t want to complain, yet again, so she just left it. My friend didn’t eat her egg but was still charged $2.50. Upon closing our bill, another waiter took our bill and asked if I had chips with my PB&J sandwich. I was never once told or offered any side options with my sandwich. Their menu didn’t list any side order options. Very odd.
I would never recommend this place to anyone. It was an overall strange experience.

Great food – the chicken salad is one of the best I have had. Great atmosphere and service. I can’t wait until Southern Folly opens too!

I love this place!! The atmosphere is so unique (although a little chilly sometimes with the high ceilings). I love Ralph’s breakfast and the breakfast sandwich with Texas toast. The service I have received was always warm and inviting. I love the patio, although I’ve not sat there yet, but it is a cozy area I look forward to enjoying when the weather warms. But most of all l, I love how the owners interact and make you feel like family. It is now my favorite go to place.

Lovely environment, but pretty disappointed in the amount and quality of food for the price. Service was slow and inaccurate. The waiter asked my mom three times how she wanted her eggs and still got them wrong. She also ordered something with avocado on it but it came without avocado; the waiter stated they were out. However there was some on sliced up on my fairly puny southwest salad. The flavor of the salad was pretty good, but it was very small, small amount of chicken. Leaving still hungry. Sweet ivys, I think you could have a good thing going if you improve your service and increase food quantities!

Worst experience I have ever had in my entire life at a restaurant. It took us over 2 hours to get our food and we did not even get the right thing when it came out. We literally ordered eggs and bacon and grits and they got the entire order wrong and served us microwaved eggs and bacon. The toast wasn’t even toasted and the pita bread was stale. One person was given pancakes TWICE instead of the grits she ordered. The manager was super rude and I’m pretty sure she’s the one that was in the back microwaving the bacon. The wait staff was super nice and apologetic but the manager made it seem like it was expected that we wait that long for atrocious food. They gave us the food for free but we couldn’t even eat it.

I usually never write negative reviews but this was so bad I had to take the time to speak honestly. The food was not very good. I ordered the avocado toast and it tasted like someone opened a loaf of bread and spread avocado. It was cold and the one tiny poached egg was an extra $2.50. Tasteless! My fiancé ordered the biscuits and gravy. Honestly canned gravy taste better!! Extremely disappointing!!!! The server however was wonderful!!! He definitely deserves 5 stars!!

I have eaten here several times and tried a couple different things. All have been delicious and a nice sized portion. My favorite so far is the Southwest Chicken Salad.
This past weekend, my family and I stopped in for lunch. There was a local festival going on and though they were busy, they kept checking on us and got our food out in a timely manner. There was live music as well as a football game in the theater/overflow dining area. For dessert, we shared a huge piece of pumpkin cake that was made in house. It was delicious!!!
