We ate lunch for the first time here. Atmosphere is great. They acknowledge you when you walk in , and our server was excellent! I wish I knew his name. He’s a tall, dark headed young man ,very polite, friendly and made us feel special. Price and proportions were right on. Food was very good as well. No complaints here!. I will be back. Lynette

We live in tyler. First visit to Ochoas and it did not disappoint. The salsa was fresh and awesome flavor, they wouldn’t share the recipe though. Food was hot and tasty Tex-mex flavor. Owner was very gracious. We will be back.

This was our first time visiting here and let me tell you, it was amazing! The food was excellent! They have the best chips and salsa, queso, cilantro and lime sauce. Everything was perfect. I ordered a chicken quesadilla with rice and beans and my husband ordered beef fajitas. We were very impressed. We’re definitely going back! The stuffed jalapeno popper appetizers were so delicious . The waiting time depends on what time you get there, I suppose. It’s definitely worth the wait.

If you haven’t been to Ochoa’s Mexican Restaurant, you are seriously missing out! From the moment we sat down, the experience was flawless. Croix was our waiter and he absolutely crushed it — attentive, friendly, and made us feel like VIPs the entire time.

The food? Top-tier. The margaritas were perfectly balanced (aka dangerously good ), and the enchiladas were absolutely delicious — rich flavor, fresh ingredients, and that “just right” spice that keeps you wanting more with every bite.

The atmosphere, the service, the flavors — 10/10 all around. Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend Ochoa’s!

Came in for dinner. We were seated told someone would be with us and no one came. They seated the next table brought them chips and salsa and ordered their drinks and we still had not been approached. We decided at that point to leave. This is the first time we’ve been in without the owner in the front. I guess you do not recieve the same service as when he’s there.

We’ve been here for over a year and are just now getting around to trying this place. The birria tacos were overly salty but had a good amount of meat. The tacos themselves fell apart everywhere and made a massive mess. The charro beans were too soupy for my tastes I like them a little thicker. My husband order the flautas and a bean and cheese burrito and for the life of me I don’t get why queso gets put on EVERYTHING. The salsa they serve with the chips is fantastic.
