So disappointed . And it is very pricy!!!!
Canned coconut jello in the dessert which I did not expected. It tasted awful !
Menu did not label about it, server did not mention it, and picture on menu did not show about it.
$9+ per one small bowl is not worth it with this taste and cleanses of the store.
While we were waiting, we sat at one empty table. The table was sticky and smelly.
I also used their washroom while waiting. Cardboard box all around. Smelly in the washroom. Not clean .
This is a place where is very hard to convince people to dine in and take out .
Feel so sad about tasting the dessert. I couldn’t finish about it.
My friends were really impressed with the desserts we got at Sweet Heart Dessert House. So glad my friends were up for dessert because this place is the right place to select your post meal desserts.
Sweet Heart Dessert House specialized in Hong Kong desserts, drinks and they now offer a food menu which I would come back to try and do another review on.
For our items:
Desserts: Hong Kong Egg Waffle with Mochi, Mango Sago Pomelo Soup and Durian roll
The Highlights:
All of the dessert options were delicious but the only one you can get here and not at other places is the Durian roll (the roll they used to wrap the durian was so soft and light/Durian was fresh and perfectly sweet). Also, the mangos are fresh because you can see them cutting them fresh while making the desserts.
Service was very efficient, you order scanning a QR code and the waiter/waitress brings out the desserts. Definitely will come back to try their food menu and other desserts.
Ambiance:
Its a small restaurant but cozy and has good music in the background playing.
Tips:
*Accepts Credit Cards
*Restroom for customers.
*Indoor seating only
*They sell a variety HK desserts and have a food menu (but I haven’t tried the food menu yet)
*Same plaza as Tip-top sandwich and Chubby Cattle
*Parking lot shared with other businesses Can be challenging on the weekend
—ORIGINAL REVIEW for records—
I’m glad someone updated the hours here. Originally said they weren’t opened on Sundays, but here we were on a Sunday, having dessert. Nice selection too! The staff have an excellent sense of humor, singing improv songs about dealing with customers, and then having to wash dishes . But they were really good with service.
There are plenty of people hanging out at night so it is a lively safe place to chat and catch up. This place satisfied my Asian dessert needs and I will definitely come back!
