Went there on a Thursday for a late brunch with my brother for his birthday. The food was amazing, everything tasted great and comforting, it felt like a warm hug. The vibe and the staff were also great. Last time I ate there was over 5 years ago so glad to see that the food is still great.

This place is tiny but cute. The food was okay. I didn’t really like my salad. There just really wasn’t much to it. I personally don’t like arugula which is the lettuce that was used but it’s the only option of 3 salads that were to my liking. I wish they had better options for salads. My boyfriend’s meal was good though. The fries he got were delicious. The chicken was pretty good. I would come back and try it again.

Very different experience compared to my first visit about 5-6 years ago. I got the cheddar/broccoli waffles and hated it. I thought there were some flavor combinations worth exploring but the ones presented could use some editing.
I think they’ve revamped the menu since because my last visit was good. I went with a friend and we both ordered the Nashville Chicken (in-bone) with vanilla waffles, Mac & cheese and frozen mango margaritas. The chicken was so good; seasoned well and had a nice level of heat. It sneaks up on you. The service was great and the vibes were good; unique music and a diverse crowd.

Sweet Chick in Brooklyn is the BOMB! Went to the Liberty WNBA game and needed to grab a bite to eat post game. Needed something good, sit down and with a very unique vibe. Sweet Chick checked ALL the boxes. We were greeted like family, and were shown to a table after a small wait time. The staff was friendly, professional and the place was place had a vibe like no other. When your beverage menu has a drink named “Christopher Wallace and Tiger, Tiger Woods, Yo” you know you’re in for a good time. Within minutes our food was served and it was delicious, flavorful and truly made with ❤️. Would highly recommend anyone in the area to give Sweet Chick their time, energy and money! You won’t be disappointed, enjoy!

I hate giving bad reviews. I really do. But, since this is the third time that i am having food from this location and it’s gotten from bad to worse, i need to say something. I am hoping that someone from the management team sees this and attempts to make internal changes. Sweet Chick used to be great, but now it tastes horrible. Warming up Frozen food in your microwave may be equivalent or better than what they’re serving.

It is a must visit when in Brooklyn. I had a beautiful plated maple chipotle Chicken and Waffle with a side of eggs and mac and cheese. My drink was sweet glass of mango lemonade, wow drink-worthy. The food was very fillin and satisfying. I can’t wait to go back and try other delicious things on their menu.

The food was pretty good & nice setting. But as far as the etiquette & customer service was whack. This was me & my bf first time here, so we were skeptical regarding order to be sure we sure, we wasn’t aware there was a back side of the menu. So after we placed our order, I wanted to change it. I’ve been in fast food I do understand sometimes that is aggravating when someone changes their order, but there’s a way you go about it and to NOT show that your annoyed with a customer because they wanted to changed their order. If I was informed upfront there was another menu on the back I would’ve initially ordered but like I said bad customer service. Then, after 20 mins I asked another waiter nicely, do you know how long the wait would be ? Since it’s just chicken and fries and waffles, she said I’ll check for you but you changed your order. When I hear her go ask regarding my order, the server Najee goes “she changed her order so” basically stating I shouldn’t be asking since I changed. His attitude was just disgusting & proving what people say about the LGBY community , just another stereotype of them. Moreless , the food was good but the customer service could definitely be improved. They act like they serving chicken in the hood or something .

Best chicken and waffle in nyc and that’s not an exaggeration! I ordered the buffalo flavored chicken tenders and my friends ordered the original wing and breast. Both taste amazing. You can tell the chicken parts have been properly seasoned before they were cooked, and the waffles are so light in flavor with crispy edges. The servers are very attentive and it’s such a laid back vibe to kick off your weekend.

The grits here can cure depression. The drinks are stronger than my will to live. Pancakes were excellent, I got the carrot cake ones. Frosting was too sweet but pancakes made up for anything wrong in my day thus far

Great atmosphere, music and staff are friendly. Best pumpkin waffles I’ve ever had. The Benedict was really good over the biscuit; I would have preferred less hollandaise sauce but overall still good. Has browns also good, a little greasy but the flavor is there.
