This time around they had their times posted on the door and hopefully Google accepts my edits so that other people don’t get there only to find it closed and be disappointed as well.
When we came today we were the first ones there, and since we already looked at the menu taped to the window, we immediately told the waitress what we wanted.
There was hardly any wait for the food either, again, maybe because we were the first ones there.
My sister chose the Build Your Own and she said the black mussels were really good.
As a vegan/vegetarian, I had a more difficult time finding something to eat since the majority of the menu is seafood. I was expecting it to be more traditional Thai food with noodles, but since I saw at least 2 pieces of art that said Seafood Boiler, I wonder if that’s what they’re planning to call the place in the future.
I ended up ordering the 3 things that sounded the most vegetarian: fried zucchini, minestrone soup, and potato salad, which I ended up giving to my sister when I realized it had egg in it. The crispy fried zucchini was what I liked the most.
The restaurant has eclectic decorations which are fun to look at. It ranged from a Buddha head to nautical art to faded word murals.
As we were finishing up, a group of women came in to celebrate, even clinking their drinks together and I can see why. The prices and portions are reasonable, it’s clean and has a nice vibe with its varied art, and the food tastes good.
The plate I had was about $10 and it was plenty of food!
Overall wonderful dining experience, would definitely come again.!
My kids had the orange chicken, my wife had the duck, and I had the garlicky salmon. Sorry we didn’t take pics of the food!!!
