Ordered from doordash, unclear how they manage to have such a high rating discrepancy between here and doordash.
Chicken quality and age questionable, though rice and veggies seemed fresh. Decent portion sizes, but unclear how my stomach will handle the sesame chicken, which seemed heavily battered, yet very chewy.

I’ve been coming here since they opened. The biggest issue is the food quality. The fried rice is overly salty and lacks real flavor. The General Tso’s chicken is chewy and difficult to eat. The wings taste decent, but they are noticeably smaller than those at other Chinese restaurants. The only positive is that the kitchen appears cleaner than most places, but unfortunately that doesn’t make up for the disappointing food.

Very very good service from the staff here. We had a small issue from Uber Eats and the staff was efficient in fixing in without calling support. The food is always amazing here so if you ever have to wait an extra couple of minutes just know why! Thanks Sweet Bamboo!

The chicken was definitely old, had to spit it out because you physically cannot digest it. The shrimp fried rice was very plain, tasteless, and only a few shrimp pieces. I was surprised how poor the quality of the food was. Never again!

I order through uber eats thinking it’s a Chinese restaurant So their portion would be the same as every Chinese store and I was so excited to get my order to receive a food as small as baby food for chicken and charge me for pork fried rice but there is no pork on it just egg white onion and the white stem thingy. Their homemade sweet tea is very excellent but I’m still very disappointed from their chicken I thick crown fried chicken and foo on in hillside chicken is bigger than their chicken itself $27 for a small chicken smaller than my hand. The manager and staff goes the extra mile to make sure customers are satisfied with their service. I moved to the area in 2023 and have started ordering Chinese food from Sweet Bamboo. The food from this place has been consistently great. Every time I walk into the restaurant, the staff always greets me with a smile.
Tonight, I ordered general tso chicken, beef with broccoli, chicken fried rice, shrimp fried rice, and chicken wings over the phone but forgot to mention adding extra shrimp to my shrimp fried rice. Once the food was delivered, I called the restaurant to inform them that I’m a regular customer and the fried rice didn’t include extra shrimps. The manager was very polite and mentioned that they would make another fresh shrimp fried rice for free and deliver it to me, while he checked with his staff on the issue. Within a few minutes after my call, the manager called me back and mentioned that they actually use a call center to take call-in orders and that the company provided a voice recording of the order. I listened to the recording and was embarrassed that I never mentioned the extra shrimp, lol! Nonetheless, the manager apologize for the inconvenience and still delivered the new fried rice. After 10 minutes, the new order was delivered to me. The food was hot and fresh! This exceptional service was unexpected from a Chinese restaurant. All the past Chinese restaurants I’ve been to would probably just ignore or charge me extra for the new fried rice.
Other than the service, some dishes that I highly recommend are the General Tso chicken, fried chicken wings, and chicken with mixed vegetables. Their canned soda is just $0.75, probably the lowest price you will ever see nowadays from a restaurant.

The food was disgusting they probably have good reviews because they say if you give a Google review you get a free drink..the chicken was nasty bbq ribs disgusting so disappointed,I had gone to a sweet bamboo place a while back and remembered it was good so I returned to a different one thinking it was the one I had gone to just to be disappointed.. my husband was trying his best to eat some of it so we wouldn’t waste money but I couldn’t even my 7yr old is a fan of bbq ribs and these were not it didn’t like it at all either…house special rice looks like they just serve the old meat it tasted old hopefully we dont get sick..

I Ordered 2 combos with vegetable egg fried rice and I only received vegetable fried rice. I called them back to let them know and the manager requested that I wait for them to bring me the correct rice and give them back the rice from my orders in a separate container which i found inconvenient 40 minutes LATER I GET A CALL FROM THE MANAGER STATING “we cannot send you the rice because vegetable fried rice doesn’t come with egg” this is ridiculous because i didn’t order vegetable fried rice alone i specifically asked for the egg to be added. So after waiting almost a hour ! She decides to tell me that she cannot send the food after I already separated it and waited almost a hour ! because all her drivers are out and she will try to do better next time. Honestly sounds like a bunch of excuses. In the end one of her drivers showed up at my door despite I was told they weren’t going to send it. The rice itself taste bland, not alot of flavor which is odd for a fried rice even the color was off. Also the general tso chicken had a good flavor but the meat was questionable and had a lot of batter. Honestly wouldn’t order from here again. I’m very dissatisfied.
