Stopped by Sweeney Swift’s and had a really good experience overall.

The burger was excellent. If you go, I highly recommend getting it on sourdough toast — it really made the burger stand out and gave it a great flavor and texture.

The cheese sticks were great and definitely one of the highlights of the meal.

The french fries were good, but in my opinion they’re better without the Cajun seasoning. The seasoning was a little overpowering, and the fries themselves are good enough without it.

The chicken tenders were just OK — not bad, but nothing special compared to the rest of the food.

What really stood out was the service, which was fantastic. Friendly, attentive, and made the visit even better.

Overall, I’d definitely go back — especially for that burger on sourdough.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)

I stopped by for a late lunch and grabbed the breakfast burger. It wasn’t bad. I asked the cook to be medium and it was not medium, more like medium-well. The egg was also a little over. It was runny, but the whites were chewy. Fries were really good. Service was good. Atmosphere is good.

Food was good. Service was great. Atmosphere was ok, not super lively. Got a milkshake for dessert, was not super impressed.

Total gem on the square!

Stumbled into this spot while visiting friends—and I’m so glad we did. The place has that old-school Americana charm but with a fresh, local twist. Burgers, shakes, and a real sense of place. Turns out, it’s right on the historic town square, where this building has been part of the community fabric for decades (you can feel the history in the floors and the friendliness). I love discovering small-town squares, and spots like this are what make them worth the detour.

I ordered the Tree-Hugger and was genuinely impressed. Quinoa, black beans, herbs, melty Provolone, basil mayo, and sweet potato fries. It’s house-made, hearty, and full of flavor. Next time, I’d skip the sweet potato fries—not because they weren’t good, but the burger didn’t need them, and with tots on the side, it was turning into a carb parade (no regrets, though—those tots were top-tier).

My friends both got The Dean—grilled chicken, provolone, bacon, tomato, and that dreamy herb mayo. No notes, just happy sounds all around the table.

Service? Absolutely on point. Super friendly, checked in often, and made sure the coffee never hit half-full.

Bonus: we peeked upstairs and checked out the private party space—super cool vibe. Think exposed brick, warm lighting, and just the right mix of vintage and modern. I’d absolutely throw a party there… now I just need an excuse!

If you’re near the square, do yourself a favor and swing by. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to be a regular.

This place is your typical burger and milkshake joint. The burgers are fine and fresh, exactly what you’d expect. There’s a good number of weird options but you can also build your own. The fries are supposed to be homemade and tasted pretty fresh. This place is actually known for its milkshakes. Which We did not try this trip, but have in the past and they are big and pretty good.

accessibility: there’s plenty of room to maneuver in a wheelchair and different seating options including booths and tables. The women’s bathroom was spacious and easy to maneuver and had a baby changing table. They’re single stall so would be easy for anyone to use; the men’s restroom was a little tight to maneuver from a small power chair

The service was great. The places was clean. However, if you go, do NOT order the chicken tenders with buffalo sause tossed. The chicken tenders were the quality of Tysons, microwaved, and it’s was an extra $1 upcharge for the buffalo sause. Which I didn’t even mind the price until it came out. It wasn’t terrible, but wasn’t good either. I tipped 35% but probably will never be back.

Definitely recommend! Fast service, wonderful environment and the food was delicious! I didn’t check out the bathrooms but everything appeared clean where we were sitting. We got the Hendrix burger, I guac the line burger (with sweet potato fries), fried pickles (my mom wanted two orders because she didn’t want to share, they’re that good), Swaney soda, and the prescription to share for dessert. We had plenty of leftovers and for the amount of food the prices are great. Already planning to bring visiting friends here.

Nice location in Old Town Gallatin. Best fries you will ever have. Farmhouse burger is excellent as are the malts.

Ordered the Baby Got Brisket Sandwhich. It lacked flavor, and it was dry. The rest of the stuff was great. It’s a local hangout spot. I enjoyed my time at this place. Our server was amazing. If you like Butterbeer from Universal Studios, you have to try their Swaney Soda…
