Tried out this new Indian restaurant in Chinatown — it’s been open for about three months, and it’s definitely a cute, cozy spot with a good variety of options. They do offer halal, but only if you specifically request it, since they cook with both types of meat. So for anyone who eats halal, make sure to mention it while ordering!

The owner, Ram, is incredibly welcoming and friendly, which adds a nice touch to the experience.

Food-wise, it was decent overall, though the quantity could be better.
The Chef’s Mix Grill Sizzler was flavorful, and the samosa chaat was yum — tangy, fresh, and honestly the best samosa chaat I’ve had in Vegas so far!

We tried a variety of breads — garlic naan, butter naan, and laccha paratha. The naans were soft as ever, and the laccha paratha was crispy and made with wheat, which I liked.

For gravies, we got the chicken jalfrezi, which had a nice mild spice level, and the lamb curry, which was okay but nothing standout. Overall, it felt like a good one-time visit.

We also got a complimentary dessert, which was a sweet way to end the meal.

We had a wonderful experience at Swad! The owner personally recommended dishes based on our taste, which made the meal extra special. His warmth truly stood out—when he noticed I had a cold, he kindly offered ginger tea on his own. Such genuine hospitality and care are rare. Delicious food, thoughtful service, and a big heart. Highly recommend!

Hidden Gem of Las Vegas for Authentic Indian Food! The owner, Mr. Ram, is a very kind personality. It feels absolutely welcoming and warm right at the entry. I’d recommend please go for their Buffet (11-3), veg and non-veg both options are there. Hot and fresh Breads (Naan, Roti) served at your table. Most of the dishes are really good and it may take you right back to Indian restaurant taste. I liked their Dal Makhani, Raita, and sabji. I must appreciate their efforts to keep the place super hygienic and clean. Ohhh and don’t forget to get the Masala Chai. ✨ #Gem #Vegas #Food #Owner #Personality #Entry #Buffet #Options #Breads #Naan #Roti #Table #Dishes #Taste #DalMakhani #Raita #Sabji #Efforts #Place #Hygiene #Clean.

Tried the thali at SWAD Indian Cuisine and it was honestly delicious. The rice, dal, chicken curry, veggies, saag—everything tasted fresh and homemade. The spices were perfect, not too heavy. The portions were good and the presentation on the thali plate felt authentic.

The restaurant itself is bright and super clean, with a really cool big LED screen on the wall. Overall, great food and a nice vibe. I’d definitely come back again.
