Don’t eat here! Waitress was very rude. Brought the wrong orders and blamed us for it. Two burgers were ordered at our table, and she had brought out four burgers, all if them were not what was ordered, and she blamed us. The cook came out with the correct order eventually and slammed it down on the table and said, “Is this what you ordered?”. Very rude and unacceptable. I ordered the BBQ sandwich, and it really wasn’t very good. Don’t eat here!

Always have a great experience here. Always good eating and pleasant service. Love the small town diner experience. So welcoming. Easy to find just past the school on the right or of course the left just before the school if you are coming the other direction.

Bbq plate was flavorful, fish plate was seasoned and cooked well, but the chicken chef salad was less than expected. Not a bad place if you’re looking for standard American fair. Not a place to go if you have a gluten sensitivity as salad is about your only option.

Rick’s Diner has really good home-cooked lunch plates. The atmosphere needs some TLC. Overall, great food and service.

Sadly, we went on porkchop day which was busy with only one waitress who had to take orders, serve food, bus tables, cashier, and may have been helping prepare food. I was told this was usual. Porkchops were so overcooked and thin; very hard to cut. Vegetables were cold. It took almost an hour to get our food which gave us 5 minutes to try to eat it. Food didn’t taste very good, so we gave up. This is a veteran owned business, and I really wanted to like it.

Monday meatloaf! Just like your grandma made! Green beans are different from up north, but delicious, stewed with onions and spices. Mashed potatoes were okay and butter beans odd, dark brown in a gray broth, tasted good, just odd. But the star of the meal was the fried peach pie with ice cream. Holy moly that was delicious! Stop in for the special and stay for the desert!
