For real– this place is chef’s kiss! I’m a Filipino and with family members & parents that make great Filipino foods I become a Filipino food snob that I don’t even have many Filipino restaurants that I can recommend to people. But this food truck I always recommend to Filipinos that love Filipino food.
& Too bad I can’t post the emoji with eyes rolling to the back of the head because mmm mmm mmM!
Their food is so darn good! Did you know you can even order a pan of their Sisig? It was one of my favorite things I ate for Thanksgiving last year Lol!
Even the next day if you can put it in a pan and roast it so some parts get crunchy omg yummm
We go here regularly every single thing on the menu is so good!
Sisig with rice or the beef marrow-type soup with rice it is almost like oxtail soup
Flavors are amazing!
And now they have their own restaurant location in Waipahu near McDonalds and Seafood City and the address is 94-226 Leoku Street, Waipahu.
I already paid for my thanksgiving order!
3/4/2022 I’m very fortunate because my hubby loves to eat. When he hears about a place, he immediately wants to go and try it out. Of course I say yes to every request. Sx8 dada’s Sizzling Sisig’s food truck is located in the old Arakawa’s parking lot on the side of Waipahu’s Festival Marketplace. Lots of parking in the lot which they share with other businesses. Hubby ordered a side of Pork Sisig from the friendly guy in the truck and I ordered the Beef Pares with rice. The guy asked if I wanted fried garlic on the rice and at first I said, no thank you but hubby encouraged me to try it the way they serve it. It took a little while because the sisig is chopped to order. We excitedly drove home, excited because the food smelled so good! So the side order of sisig is a huge plate, just without rice. My Beef Pares came with a large scoop of white rice topped with fried, crunchy garlic bits. This food was DELICIOUS! Hubby let me try his Pork Sisig which I loved. Lots of tender pork pieces with crunchy pork skin. When he went to the kitchen, I snuck a few more bites. My Beef Pares was wonderful! There was a lot of beef and it was tender and flavorful. There was also some mini bok choy leaves and the broth reminded me of yummy oxtail soup. SO AWESOME! The Beef Pares made two meals for me. I kept telling my hubby how much I enjoyed it and kept telling him to eat some of my food. Since I ate all the rice as my dinner, the next morning, I heated up the rest of the Pares and ate it over ramen noodles. Thank you for the deliciousness and friendly customer service, Sw8! He and I kept talking and raving about just how much we enjoyed the food. So we had to call his sister and tell her all about it. She ended up going the next day to try the Chicken Sisig and her bf got the Pork Sisig. They agreed that Sx8 dad’s Sizzling Sisig is masarap! We’ll for sure be back!
