I ordered the oxtails. It was pretty typical. That’s why I scored it a three star. They were not fall off. The bone are tender the way that I like them. They were pretty tough. The candy yams was awesome.

This is most definitely a hidden gem! I gave it 4 stars because I felt it wasn’t a welcoming experience they weren’t as friendly as I would’ve like but hey that’s my opinion. The food was Chef’s kiss we got the lunch special I expected it to be mediocre… but it was well beyond my expectations. I had the Jerk chicken with curry potatoes and cabbage. My husband had the curry chicken with okra and corn. The food was so good we ordered 1 to go to share for later. I would most definitely eat here again. Oh also you get a drink with the special and we ordered cornbread as well.

I got the jerk chicken with rice & peas and a side of mac and cheese. The chicken was very dry and chewy, no sauce or anything either. Very bland and easily worst jerk chicken I’ve had. They give you a sweet chili sauce which was weird, not sure what that’s about. The rice and cabbage were the only good part. The Mac and cheese was strange, it was very loose and tasted like it wasn’t finished. Big waste of money.

I went to the taco place behind them and when I got out the car the Jerk was smelling so good I changed my mind. And it was a pleasant surprise.
The customer service was mid but it’s the end of the day and almost closing time so at least they weren’t rude.
You get great portion size for the price and the food was tasty. The chicken was smoked to perfection but the jerk flavor was lacking. It was spicy but not jerk. They gave you sauce on the side… It seemed to have an apple cider vinegar base .. not what I was expecting but it did taste good

Very delicious. It was quick, fresh, and hit the spot. The jerk chicken was slightly dry but seasoned just right. The Mac n cheese and yams were absolutely delicious. I had to spin back and get another. Additionally, I got a beef patty. It was very good and tasty. The outer crust was nice and flaky, the filling just right. The entire meal filled me up and left me satisfied and happy.

They only offer large size Oxtail plate $30. Not worth it. It’s mostly bones. They need to have medium size option for the oxtail and goat meat also like other meats. The rest of mediums are around $16. Maybe because the meat prices have gone up but this price is too high for an average customer. I want to support a small business so please do something to change the menu.

I came here and was greeted quickly. There was a short wait to be helped and the lady was very pleasant. I ordered rice & peas and plantains and she dropped the plantains fresh. The rice & peas were the most DRY I have ever had! Do Not Recommend! The plantains were hot but barely tasty unfortunately. They really weren’t even cut correctly to get the good crisp edge to them and cook to full flavor. These were the only dishes I tried, but the patrons seemed to be comfy there as though they were regulars. Therefore, I image their other dishes may produce better experiences.
