We walked in without a booking and ordered a few dishes to share. We started with the betel leaf ($9), which was quite bland and lacked flavour. The kingfish sashimi ($34) was a standout very fresh with heaps of flavour, definitely recommend. The chicken dumplings ($25) were also really good, super soft and melt in your mouth. The fragrant chicken laab ($34) was a bit disappointing, it didn’t have much flavour and hardly any lettuce leaves it could definitely use more. We also felt like we left about half the dish. The Suzie fried rice ($23) was fine, nothing special but did the job. Overall, a mix of hits and misses.

– The Steak & Frites are so juicy and tender. The sauce pairs so well with the steak as well
– Beef Panang is sooooo flavorful. The meat is tender without crumbling just how Beef Panang is supposed to be. The Panang sauce goes so well with their rice without being too thick and creamy.
– Chicken & Coriander dumplings is a must order. The skin of the dumplings are not too thick and you can taste the “crunchiness” of the chicken
– Beef Tartare is also juicy and so delicious.
– Pad Thai is usually tricky because some places made it too sour, while others made it too sweet. The one we had was a perfect balance of both.

Tried the market fish (changes daily) and wow — it was spot on. Crispy skin, super fresh, sitting on this creamy coconut curry sauce with just the right kick of spice. The herbs, chili and fried shallots on top made every bite pop with flavour.
Served with a bowl of fluffy rice, it felt like comfort food but with a little fancy twist. Great price for the quality too — definitely one of those places you don’t want to miss in Salamanca. I’ll be back for sure! ✨

It was our first visit.The food was delicious, but the experience was disappointing due to poor communication. We were three people — my son is 13 (underage) and my husband was driving, so I was the only one drinking. Both of us had already had one drink, and a friendly female server asked if I wanted another. I said yes and asked for her recommendation, then simply followed it.
I ordered one cocktail, but it was served in a large carafe with three glasses, and no one explained that it would be charged as multiple drinks. We ended up paying $297.74. Of course, we should have checked the receipt more carefully — a lesson learned — but in this situation, staff really should have double-checked before serving something that would significantly increase the bill. Because of this, I don’t think we’d return.

A visit to Hobart, and the flight was delayed. Checked in, not feeling awesome being late, came to the door no booking and of course they had a table for us. So happy. The service was terrific. From when we arrived to the food, everything. The food.. freshly sucks Bruny oysters.. omg. Then the kingfish sashimi, delicious and with a kick! But the standout meal, Wagyu tartar. I assured my wife it’s not my favourite, but was I wrong. Absolutely amazing. If you’re in Hobart, worth the visit!
