Raising Cane’s definitely delivers when it comes to fresh, juicy chicken tenders and that famous Cane’s Sauce — no complaints there. The toast is also a nice touch, and the service is usually pretty fast and friendly.
That said, I personally prefer Zaxby’s overall. The variety at Zaxby’s is better, and I really miss seasoned fries when I eat at Cane’s. Cane’s fries tend to be bland since they don’t even salt them — definitely a missed opportunity for more flavor.
Still, if you’re craving straightforward, quality chicken tenders, Cane’s is a solid choice. Just be ready to reach for the salt shaker.

The curbside pickup experience leaves a lot to be desired — the three designated spots are routinely used as regular parking, leaving curbside customers without a place to pull in. The site itself is simply too small and under-parked for the lunch rush, and the drive-thru queue doesn’t have nearly enough stacking room to handle demand. It’s a great location with genuinely good food, but the footprint and restaurant size were never designed to support this level of business volume.

Never been disappointed with Raising Cane’s. Our first time was in Nashville. Didn’t realize there was one in Knoxville until recently. We were very excited about that. Since we were going to be passing through Knoxville from Chattanooga, we knew where we wanted to have lunch. The chicken came out piping hot. My daughter said it was “nuclear”. Fries were hot and crispy. And the cane’s sauce is always good with the chicken and the fries. It’s a little pricey, but worth it; especially if it’s something you don’t get to have all the time. It’s a special treat because we don’t have one closer to home. I have no doubt we will go back again. The only issue we had was with parking. Besides the fact that it was peak lunchtime, I just don’t think there was enough parking space. A lot of us were parking at the BBQ place next door and walking down to Raising Cane’s.

Hot tasty food! We love Cains, and heading through Knoxville we saw this one on the map so we stopped in for some good food. They always have hot fresh delicious food and this one is no exception. The ladies working behind the counter were nice as well!

Service to the drive-thru is always been excellent and quick. The toast is never overcooked, the fries always perfectly seasoned. The breading on the chicken reminds me of the breading some fish fries of my youth. I don’t know if y’all have any Lent fish specials, but that breading is wonderful.

I recently visited Raising Hurricanes and ordered the three-piece chicken combo with extra French fries, and I have to say, it was an incredible experience! The chicken was hands-down the best I’ve ever had from a food-food restaurant—flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and moist. It truly exceeded my expectations. The French fries were equally excellent—crispy,golden, and fresh.
The service was amazing as well. Even though I went through the drive-thru due to limited parking availability, the staff was efficient, friendly, and ensured my order was correct. Despite the wait, the quality of food and service made it absolutely worth it. 105 A+
