Decided to stop by to get a whole chicken, the food is so so fresh, the workers are so nice and friendly. I love discovering new mom and pops shops in the area. Definitely worth a try, the chicken was so flavorful, tender, and juicy, quite literally falls off the bone. They use wood to charcoal the chicken and it gives it that beautiful smokey wood flavor. The workers were so happy someone stopped by for lunch, people like this deserve some more business! Gave me some Yuka and plantains to try as well and it was so fresh, I loved it all!

Decided to give this spot a chance since it’s close to home and at very good location.
I was under the impression it was Peruvian chicken style due to the “ Pollo à la brasa “ but in fact is west African? Suya? Not sure and honestly doesn’t matter as it honestly tasted good with a couple points I have to make

– Rice and beans were VERY bland but I added the Orange sauce which is 10/10
– Food portions were reasonable I guess but the chicken was definitely undercooked and it had red spots I’ll say 6/10
– yuca was bland again, and seem a bit older but was it was ok 7/10
– The food in general look a lil older and dry, no spark in the food
– sauces were okay 7/10
Orange sauce was 10/10
Ranch is ranch so personally neutral
Green sauce was spicy but not hot 8/10

I’ll be back in 3 months as I hope they have found better rhythm, the gentlemen was doing 10 different things at the same time which honestly for 2 sides and half a chicken it should’ve been a 3 minute thing which we waited for atleast 10 minutes, also they must work on hygiene. I’ll be nice and just say that
They were friendly and greeted me, which goes a long way. I hope this business does succeed! Overall 3.9/5

I was driving by and saw this place. I was curious due to the name “Suya”. My husband and daughter and I tried the quarter chicken, the Suya as well as the shawarma all of which were DELICIOUS. 10/10 highly recommended. The atmosphere is beautiful, kid friendly and I tried one of the red drinks called “FOLERE” which was also delicious. The customer service was also nice, I was greeted upon entering and they immediately took my order and the food was ready shortly after. I will definitely be ordering more from this restaurant.

If you love suya, you have to try this place. I was drawn in by the sign and they did not disappoint. The meat was perfectly seasoned, but the pepper was the real star—it made every bite even more enjoyable. A fantastic blend of African and Peruvian vibes!

The restaurants had an excellent atmosphere. Excellent service, food was prepared quickly, and everything looked clean. Ordered the whole chicken. The chicken had a good flavor on the surface, but it seems like its lacking salt/flavor on the inside. Possibly needs more time to brine. The green sauce did not taste peruvian authentic. I will come back to try again in the future since the place is new.

I stopped by this newly opened restaurant and wanted to share my experience. Yes, they’re still finding their rhythm as a brand-new establishment, but there’s so much to appreciate here!
The menu really impressed me with its diversity—they offer pollo a la brasa, grilled fish, salad, fried chicken, and more. There’s genuinely something for everyone.
The staff absolutely made the experience. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and you could tell they genuinely cared about making sure we had a good visit. Even with the typical growing pains of a new restaurant, their warmth and attentiveness really shone through.
And the location? Perfect. It’s convenient, accessible, and exactly where the neighborhood needed a spot like this.
Sure, they’re still working out some kinks—as any new restaurant does—but the foundation is solid: great food variety, genuinely nice people, and an ideal location. I’m excited to watch them grow and will definitely be back!
If you’re in the area, give them a try and show some support for this local business. They deserve it!

This suya Polo restaurant is absolutely amazing! The food is fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection every time. They have multiple dishes on the menu, from delicious grilled fish and fresh salads to assorted rice options there’s something for everyone.

I had the suya and the chicken shawarma, and both were outstanding! The suya was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice, and the shawarma was packed with flavor and very satisfying. The portions are generous too.

The customer service is warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere is clean and comfortable. If you’re craving authentic, tasty food with great variety, Suya Polo a la brasa is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend.

I was looking forward to this place opening, but I’ll probably not go back. I ordered a 1/4 chicken and sides but got a meatless wing and a small thigh. $16 and I left hungry. The chicken and sides were so bland. Do they have spices? I don’t think so
