Susu and her team began working in local kitchens, whipping up mouth-watering cakes, pies, cookies, and more before opening up a shop of their own. Now, in their welcoming bakery, the team continues to turn out specialty cakes that tower high with frosting rosettes or sit cutely covered in decorative fondant, plus sweet cupcakes, and moist, chocolate-covered cake pops.

What an amazing find!
My wife got one of the too good to go surprise bags from here as we’ve been trying to explore more of local restaurants.
The 5 pastries we got were perfectly packaged and looked so delicious. We had been out enjoying the weather and found ourselves also very much in the mood for dinner but had to swing by for our sweet treats package.
Anyway, we quickly realized this place had tacos, burritos, empanadas, and more so decided to knock out dinner here.
Best decision of the day! Portions were enough to take some home and every single bite was nothing less than a flavorful fiesta in my mouth. It also tasted like my family’s cooking and not some sub par version of what others think is Hispanic food.
This place is great! Can’t wait to bring my
Mother here when she comes to visit this summer.
The girl at the front, was also super friendly. Seriously one of my fave eatery experiences in Chicago yet!

My engagement party was the day of that huge snowstorm. I had booked with Susu to come set up at my house, and they came outtt despite the storm right on time and did an amazing job. All the guests loved it. There were desserts I didn’t even try because they finished so quickly.
The dedication and trustworthiness was incredible. Really recommend and would book with them again!

I’ve visited and dined in a number of times and I’ve ordered food for delivery. I have never experienced disappointment. The food, desserts, drinks, and service are top notch. The portions are great. The restaurant itself is super cute! Ive had friends meet me there for food dates and they’ve enjoyed everything.

I hired susu for a dessert/fruit table and cake for my engagement party and I was very disappointed. While the dessert and cake were delicious, the communication was very poor. My questions were not fully answered, my requests were not fulfilled. I requested a cake that looked like the model photo I sent without the gold dripping on top and that was ignored. I was really upset about this. By the dry responses and unanswered questions it truly felt as though my order was not important. I would say that Susu dream cakes lacks in the customer service department. If someone is paying you for a service the least you could do is get the cake design request right. I will not be using this place again.

Amazing quality work always! This is our second event ordering a dessert and fruit display from Susu and her and her team never fail! We are 1.5 hours away and they were there early and set everything up meticulously. I asked for a decor style they had never done before and they delivered beyond my expectations! On top of everything their prices are affordable and reflect the amazing quality work they do. Thank you susu! We will be using them again for our sisters bridal shower coming up in a few months. Highly highly recommend!

We used Susu’s Dream Cakes for our wedding. She did a fantastic job and made an absolutely beautiful sweet table display. She even matched it perfectly to our color scheme. The sweets themselves were delicious, and we got many compliments on them. Make sure you try her pistachio cake, it’s the best!

The horchata tasted completely of rosewater and nothing else. The lotus cheesecake was sour which was out of the ordinary since I’ve gotten it before and it was really good. The 2 taco dinner with asada tacos was pretty good though.

This cake was not only beautiful it was delicious!!! Great prices, super moist and flavorful. We got almond on top tier and white chocolate raspberry on the bottom tier. I personally loved both but everyone loved the white chocolate raspberry more.

We ordered my wedding cake from here, a specialty made multi-tiered baklava cheesecake – a truly stunning piece of art while tasting absolutely heavenly. It was the perfect end to a perfect night. We received multiple compliments from guests raving about how delicious the cake was. The owner is also a joy to work with. Can’t recommend enough!!
