This place is an absolute gem and such a welcome addition to Redwood City. From the first bite, you can tell the food is made with care, bold flavors, and authenticity. We started with the nachos, which were generously topped, perfectly crispy, and packed with flavor—honestly some of the best nachos I’ve had in a long time.

The camarones estilo cucaracha were a standout: crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, with that addictive crunch that keeps you reaching for “just one more.” The mojarra was cooked beautifully—crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, and seasoned just right. You can tell it was prepared fresh and with real attention to detail.

The ceviche de pescado tied everything together. It was refreshing, bright, and balanced—fresh fish, the right amount of citrus, and incredible flavor without being overpowering. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and truly authentic.

If you’re looking for amazing seafood, bold flavors, and a place that clearly takes pride in their food, this spot is a must-try. We’ll absolutely be back—and bringing friends next time. Highly recommend!

At first I thought this place was scetchy like sushi and Mexican food? Really? But I’m here eating my own words. This is place has the best ceviche, soups and drinks I have ever tasted. Please come in and try it you won’t regret it. Oh and the sushi is not bad.

I decided to try this place because of all the good reviews. I ordered the Camarones a la Diabla and the Ondeado sushi. I tried the sushi first and it was decent. Then I moved on to the Camarones a la Diabla, which came with only six shrimp, and unfortunately, they hadn’t been cleaned. That was incredibly unappetizing and honestly all I needed to see to throw away what ended up being a $40 meal.

I really wanted to like this place, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

It’s a fusion place for Japanese sushi and Mexican food. Despite the name “Sushi”, the menu inclined more to the Mexican cuisine. It’s a freestyle restaurant. Don’t expect to be seated. You just walk in, grab a vacant table and then wait for the waiter/waitress to come over.

We tried their Campechana and Ceviche Mixto. Their food was delicious. The drink was also good. They also have a kid menu for little ones.

Food was served quickly and gone just as fast. The Mariscada easily feeds 2 and is a great plater to test everything. The appetizer I highly recommend, the sauce is amazing, is the camarones cucarachas. We were dipping everything in that sauce.
